By popular demand double post Mondays are

back. Seriously though, I just wanted to mention that the climate around here is a far cry from what it was this time yesterday. It's overcast and a lot cooler out there. Our temperature is probably going to reach a high of +21. I don't think we're going to need our AC tonight.

I'll be heading out of here at my usual time 2pm. A chance of rain is in the forecast for today so most likely I won't be sitting at my favorite spot to read for my 3pm half hour break before I sign in. So, at the moment I'm relaxing with my first coffee for an hour before get ready to leave. Anyway, that's about all for now.

This week is going to be jam packed

to say the least. This morning I've got to get on the phone with ei and find out whats going on and what happened to when I tried doing all of this on Friday? Then Tuesday I've got banking to do, Wednesday is Canada Day where I get a day and night to myself. Thursday I'm off to my PCN for a
10am appointment. Friday on my way into work its to the lab for that blood work, yeesh.

Eskimo's QB Mike Riley is out indefinitely with a knee injury in Saturday's game against the Argo's. I hope Riley recovers and is able to play again. Most likely Matt Nichols, will fill in during the meantime. For the most part, there goes our season.

What a difference a year makes. This time last year our unemployment rate was 4.5 now it's 5.8 and that's borderline recession territory. I just hope I can keep my job until pension but the Alberta NDP want to raise minimum wage to $12 hour in October eventually to $15. That's crazy. The NDP in Saskatchewan didn't even do that. That can't be good news. It doesn't affect me all that much that way but it could mean I might lose shifts. The next 2 years are going to be a make or break for us. Anyway, that's all for now.

26-30 is what our average temperature

will be like for the next 10 days, uggh. In other words its going to be hot but July has always been a hot month in the region, especially here in Alberta. I don't mind the heat but it just makes it hard for sleeping over night. At the moment its +17 but less then 2 hours ago it was +27 as this apartment retains the heat. It's probably 5 degrees hotter inside then it is out there. The heat affects people different ways. With Anne it tries her patience and she says things she doesn't mean. Its not her fault.

I hadn't been to Tim's in awhile and Saturday morning seemed like as good as time as any to go get some breakfast. I usually go for the sausage egg sandwich hash brown combo/coffee and I wanted to put $20 on my Tim's card. I was ready to order and the clerk said they were out of eggs. I wasn't very happy, so much for breakfast. I'm at the corner of 107 and Jasper facing East and there was my #5 bus pulling out and away while I was in the crosswalk. I caught the bus barely and it was unusually loaded on a Saturday morning at 9am? I barely got a seat. What about breakfast? I had a long day ahead. Then I realized a Tim's alternative was MacDonalds but there wasn't one around. Then I remember my supervisor mentioning PetroCan as they have a A&W in each location. There was one at 111th Ave and 124th street just up the block. I had about a hour to kill before my 10am shift anyway. I ordered the breakfast sausage combo equivalent and coffee. It was like sitting in a mini food court meant for about 6 people but my meal was great and I had a nice walk back for about 4 blocks. I think I'll be going for my Saturday morning breakfast at PetroCan for at least the summer. It was a good experience.

Normally for a Saturday we have a full crew but we had less then 10 staff, including me. I had a decent day on the job and got home shortly before 7pm. I watched what was left of the Bomber/Riders game got my call from Anne and other then the fight we had after lunch about an hour ago and this heat, everything is more or less fine. Anyway that's all for now.

Maybe and its a big maybe

I might have got 4 hours of sleep over night. It wasn't because it was overly hot but at 10pm last night it was +25 out there. What I like about the recent double pane windows is that it helps to retain cool air inside. Add the fan and it makes it nice for sleeping during hot days like this in the summer.

This morning as I was half awake and I realized, wait now. How can I make my ei report to recover last week when that week Monday would has come and gone on the ei reporting calendar? I got up and realized this shortly after about 5:30am. I couldn't sleep. The ei worker said yesterday I'd need to go in on Monday and file my report. So I thought, lets go in today and get it over with. I had to reset my security questions only to see that it shows I went back to work. So what was it I did yesterday then? Ok so let me sort this out. I also said to reset my claim after I activated it and put it back to sleep. This means I need to get up early Monday get this whole thing sorted out with ei over the phone. The I've got to get to the bank to make our rent bank deposit, then over to the lab to get blood work. Then into work. Monday is going to be busy.

The good news yesterday, the Edmonton Oiler's have selected first round pick at the draft Connor McDavid. Also we got Griffin Reinhart ex Oil King D. So far its been a great draft year for the Oiler's. I have a feeling that this upcoming season could be a turn around year for the Oiler's. After 9 years in the wasteland and all that's going on with a new General manager, a new coach the downtown arena, and selecting Connor McDavid 2016 could be the year the Oiler's make the playoffs.

In about a hour I'll be out there waiting for my bus and this time I'm getting breakfast at Tim's. Its going to be a long day but in a good way last night Anne bought me some "cheese doodles" to snack on tonight and hopefully I'll get the score on the Eskimo game, which is underway at 3pm. Because I had only a week on my cheque but I have my cpp that came in and Anne had her cheque this week and next cheque should be a larger one. Hopefully I can get this thing sorted out next week with ei.

I'm not in a hurry to get home after work. I can always get the score on the Esks game from the supervisors desk before I head out of the office. I'm also thinking maybe I ought to pop into BP's but I think Happy Hour ends at 6pm so it might be a good idea to head to the bar for a cold one but we'll see. Since I'm diabetic and I had a beer last Friday, I don't want to compromise my health and end up like poor Russel in 2005. Anyway, that's all for now.

Friday, June 26, 2015

The biggest name in the

NHL draft is about to be drafted by the Oiler's later today and I hope the Oiler's select Connor McDavid and not a #2 or #3 pick. That's the most important thing on my mind today.

The other item is confirming my ei and I've got to make sure I'm doing this properly. So far I've got work until the end of July. After that, I don't know, which is why I want my ei as back up. There might be something for August, but that's hard to say at the moment.

Today its into the job thing 4-9:30pm. I'd normally go to the bank but we're ok for that right now. We don't need to worry about that until Monday. I'll be doing the banking before work.

We got up to +29 and that's hot weather for us. At the moment its raining very lightly, with a bit of thunder and lightning. Nothing sever is going on for us here in the Capital region weather wise. Anyway, that's all for now.

I don't see the project at work barely getting underway

to be put on pause until September. I got 16 completes Tuesday night as it is. About 50 % of my colleagues are 65 or older and probably wouldn't mind the summer off. Having my ei on hold sure I'd be ok for the summer but some of  my colleagues wouldn't. I'll be calling at 1:15pm to see if there is a shift or my boss could be calling me again. Fortunately I have a full cheque on Friday and my cpp so I could be okay for July.

The downtown arena has about a quarter of its roof built. There is so much going on at the moment. There is construction across the street with the extension of the original strip mall, the Clareview bus barn land is being excavated, Edgewater towers by Stadium is going up, the arena, Royal Alberta museum, City of Edmonton tower, Stantec tower, Delta tower, Charles Ramsey tower, Ultima, Fox 1 and now 2, Mayfair, NorQuest, proposed for this spring, Jasper house 38 stories, Healy ford lands those are out of some 31 projects going on around the city. Also, Blatchford, is in full gear and Metro lrt should be coming online soon and if that's not enough right around the corner is the $1.8B valley line.

Even though I could use another week off, I need my hours. I've got gear I'd like to get, like the Korg Electribe sampler and the Roland jd-x1. I want those 2 pieces of gear before the end of the year. So its imperative I get working today.
Anyway, that's all for now.

Too my surprise

about 1:30pm, the boss called and said the system crashed over night so its being repaired. I'm no tech guy think I know why the cause of the crash. I'm to call in before I leave out of here tomorrow, just to make sure there's work tomorrow night. So I have a night off tonight and I get to watch some of the NHL awards.

At the moment Anne is getting ready to leave for her job and I'm on hold with ei. Hopefully that Anonymous dns attack last week wont affect what I'm trying to do today. I'm on speaker phone hold. I attempted to activate my ei and I'm not quite sure I did that properly I'll call tomorrow morning and see if I can get that done properly.

The other thing I'd like to do when Anne leaves is to call my isp and see if they can get a tech guy out here to trouble shoot my signal pixilation issues. I booked a tech appointment between 11-1pm for tomorrow. Anyway, that's all for now.

I felt good heading into work yesterday

afternoon. I spent a nice half hour reading as clouds darkened and left. Very nice out there. The new project went along nicely. Easy to do and there's a good chance we've got work until the end of August. Kind of a quiet week around here, anyway that's all for now.

Back at it today

heading out of here about 2pm for another 5.5 hour shift. I'll be doing that all week. Saturday 10-6pm.

Over there at Connect 2 Edmonton forum there's an interesting topic on Minimum income vs Minimum wage. The for minimum income would be that everyone wold be getting a minimum income or "mincome." It would cut out a lot of paperwork but also at the same time where is the incentive for people to work if they don't have to? This mincome notion was advanced by Trudeau sc in the 1970's. This is why even when I'm on pension I need to work. One does not retire from life. Anyway, the discussion is here.

I just caught this on the Coast site: Will the leap second on June 30 break the internet? Experts fear added time could cause computer chaos On June 30, at 23:59:59 GMT, the world's clocks will add an extra second. This is to account for discrepancy between 'Earth' time and 'atomic' time. But experts warn it could wreak havoc to systems powering the internet. It may cause some systems to crash while others will be half a second off. Its an interesting dilemma. As a result the computer sees a leap second as time going backward, causing a system error and the CPU to overload. Most of the above was taken from this site, you can read here.

Since I started this job I usually am out by 9:25pm and I can get the 9:30pm bus to Corona station. I'm usually home by 10:30 in which case, I'll miss the first half hour of wrestling. Anyway that was a good week off.

About this time Friday night

I noticed on my isp call history shortly before midnight that I missed a important call from my job. This was a call I was expecting from my supervisor about work for July and I just thought what if they called Friday while I was out? They called Wednesday! Yikes. I was worried about this all Saturday morning and got very little sleep. What if they thought I quit? I called shortly before 10am Saturday and they just wanted to confirm my availability for the new project. So I'm back to work Monday from 4-9:30pm Monday through Friday and 10-6pm Saturday. Sigh of relief or what?

I'm beginning to like what the Alberta NDP's are doing. I like the "those making 125K annually will be paying more." I like the no pst and to some extent I like the minimum wage increase (October?) to $12 but something tells me I'll be paying for that in other ways. Maybe I'll have 1 or two less shifts. Rent will go up because I'll have "more cash." its a double edged sword.

Its fathers day weekend this weekend. My Shrine calendar had it for last Sunday. Thursday July 2nd I need to see my pcn before work. Sunday July 12th I hope to be at a lodge Officers meeting in the afternoon at our WM residence. July 19th its WWE Battleground. July 23rd I have a x-ray and its volunteer time at Fort Edmonton park that same day. Saturday July 25th its our annual lodge BBQ. All of that and I'm working steady. I have a lot going on. It was a year ago this Friday I got the job at Direct Buy. As for today, I'm just relaxing sleep in late. Anyway, that's all for now.

Saturday, June 20, 2015

Instinct kicked in shortly before midnight

and I thought to check my phone call display. Our isp records who called and sure enough my place of employment tried calling Wednesday shortly after 1pm. That's why we need our vm activated. It could have been to tell me the project has been delayed for a week or two or for me to come in Thursday for training. It's not like at the other place where its a conference call between multiple offices. I just need a minimum amount of instruction and I'm ready to start.

So yesterday I left out of here for my Doctors appointment noticing signs by the Muttart lands Brookfield residential popping up all over the place by Stadium South of the lrt tracks. I arrived to my Doctors appointment right on time. I got weighed at 204Lbs for my height I'm just about 40lbs overweight. I seem to recall my first visit my weight (2008) was about 260. I dropped a lot of weight over the last 7 years. I got another form for my X-ray and one was faxed over to that office. After that I went to this seniors office and they said that the Federal Government will prompt me a year from now to apply by sending me a form in the mail or through Service Canada via my email to apply. After that I went to Corona station to get a bus to City Centre mall. I decided why not go to Rickies? I treated myself to a burger and a beer. After that upstairs to Coles and I got a Warhammer 40K book, "The Grey knights" omnibus. I've got about 4 more omnibus books to get. Since I haven't been in City Centre mall for a long time, gone was the stationary store (formally Wilson's) but The Source (radio shack) was still there and on my way out there was a Tim Horton's. Cool. I got my train and I was  home by 4pm.

The only casualty of last night was (I think) that the British open preempted the Esks/Lions CFL game. I did see some of the highlights on the news so there must have been some TV coverage. The good news is Esks won 18-13. They're off to a great start.

Also in the news Telus was saying they are investing $1B to fiber every subscriber home over the next 6 years. Its at no charge to subscribers. It means that currently, broadband internet is 25 megabits per second. With fiber, Internet speeds will go up to 150 megabits per second. According to Telus only about 10% of North America uses Fiber. This is a highly significant announcement.

So having learned that my place of employment actually tried to reach me Wednesday, and me leaving a vm message last night, means I'm up shortly before 10am to find out whats going on. If there is nobody answering the phone at 10am, then that could tell me that the project has been delayed. Actually if that's the case, I could use a week or two off. Anyway, that's all for now.

Thursday, June 18, 2015

I haven't heard anything yet from

my place of employment For the most part we're shut down for the week awaiting the new project, which I have few details and which I can't disclose. I'll know after the weekend. I'm reluctant to activate my ei on hold at the moment because a full week has yet gone by. I'll activate it as well after the weekend as most likely my next cheque after this upcoming one will be for half a week. That one week ei will make up the difference.

Lately I've been watching a lot of cool Jams on YouTube where producers are using Korg Volca's. These step sequencer boxes about the size of a trade paperback novel sync up to each other and have buttons and dials to augment the bpm, pitch, envelope etc of the sounds on board the units. There are 4 in this line: Keys, Beats, Bass, Sample. They all sync to each other and have a big sound. The Volca's reside in the Techno/House genre of music but I like this style. Its very hypnotic style and quite creative and versatile. Some of these Jams can go on for 5-10 minutes or longer. What appeals to me is that most if not all of these jams are without the aid of a computer, other then maybe to process the sound. Sure I can go down to the Makerspace in the library for a couple of hours and mess around on the guitar and bass guitar and use their computers and I still might do that but for now this is a minimum investment. The first thing though I want to get is a camera to record these jams:

So since I hooked up with Tim a few months ago he was telling me about his GoPro camera business. These GoPro's though are very pricey at close to $500 each! I've been asking on YouTube music jammers what camera's they use for filming their jams. I get all kinds of responses. Some people use GoPro, some use fancy SLR cameras, some use their iPhone cameras. Some use other Action cams. I searched on YouTube for Action cams. I took a look at the tiny Polaroid Cube. Its got a metallic base and slightly smaller then a golf ball for about $100. Then I saw its competitor the Mobius camera. The Mobius is about the size of a box of tic-tacks, shoots wide angle, 1080P, 720p and charges via a usb cable with a lot of features. It's under a $100 on Ebay Canada. On the forums people are saying it's giving GoPro a run for its money. I mean, who would want to spend nearly $500 for a GoPro camera when the Mobius will do the same thing if not better for under a $100? And that includes some accessories. Once I know what's going on with my job I'm uploading some cash to Pay pal. I' ve ordered from Ebay before. Its safe and secure. I don't mind waiting 4-6 weeks to receive the unit. By that time, I'll have enough funds to buy the Korg Electribe sampler and a couple of Volca's. I'm also going to tie the Jams to be live using Periscope.

Other then all of the above, I'm just holding down the fort as Anne's working this evening. We're up early tomorrow for the inspector. Anne's confident we have no issues. I hope so, anyway, that's all for now.

Wednesday, June 17, 2015

Our flat screen TV broadcasts out at 720P

but 1080p was just coming online when we bought our TV. It worked great as of about a year ago. Now we get signal drops often and heavy pixalation makes watching our TV a struggle at times. Now that I have some time off, I'm calling our cable company today to get some trouble shooting help

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the funeral of Edmonton Police Officer Const. Daniel Woodall. His funeral service is this morning. He was killed in the line of duty last Monday while investigating a hate crime incident. He was a proud member of the Edmonton Police service.

Daniel Craig who is the current actor playing James Bond has been trying to get out of this franchise since the beginning. He's got one more film after Spectre. The #1 odds on favorite to replace Craig will be Damian Lewis. Looking forward to seeing Spectre.

It's a pretty quiet week leading up to Friday: Then we have the inspector and I've got to head downtown for my Doctors appointment and then City Centre mall Coles see what Warhammer 40K Omnibus books they have and a bite to eat before home and the Esks/Lions pre season game. Anyway, that's about all for now.

Our resident manager had the property manager

on the phone while I was in the office yesterday morning and approved a inspection notice. However if there is any hint or trace of bb activity, then we have to comply to spray. We bought ourselves a week. The inspector will be here none the less Friday morning. We passed the last two inspections in January and February.

So once I know what's going on with my job next week and I get on the schedule, I'm opening up a account with LM for the Electribe sampler when it comes in July. It's a cool piece of gear about the size of my laptop and half as thick. I'm still not giving up on Maschine as its a useful tool for sound design.

On National news last night they had this segment on London's "cross rail" subway project. With 9 stations and 26 kilometers of tunnels, and about 4,000 workers its the largest project of its kind in Europe. Yet a year after our own Metro line has been completed, we can't even get the system online.

I'm enjoying my week off. Last night I watched the Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup in a 2-0 win over Tampa Bay. Wow. Then I watched Monday night Raw. I had a great night. Anyway, that's all for now.

Monday, June 15, 2015

About 10am this morning I've got to go

to the resident manager and get a form to do a bed bug spot check. Once that's done I can breath a sigh of relief.

Money in the bank was good. It had a lot of surprises and I had fun with it. Anne's watching the encore version.

Yesterday Rosetta's lander Philae has woken up after seven months in hibernation on the surface of Comet. The lander actually managed to send a Tweet out as well. Anyway, that's all for now.

We're on the cooler side of mid June

but the air is still nice. We usually get most of our rain in June but its been dry lately. This June holds a special moment for me because it was 35 years ago today Sherwood Park Medieval days was underway. It would almost be this hour that the SCA awards were about to be decreed to members for various deeds within their respective SCA bodies. Everyone was in full costume. Since the SCA was the main attraction and I led the two groups (Edmonton and Calgary) the day before in the parade. I thought I'd get an award. I was a bit naive at the time. I recall that weekend was rain free but raining in my heart. I had a lot on my mind for a 28 year old. It's in my diary. Unfortunately there is no more medieval days but it went from 1964-1967 and then the Kinsmen Club. At one time it even had a midway. The last Medieval Days was held May 2002, 13 years ago.

For the most part Anne and I are night owls. On a Saturday night we're up until about 5am. Around 4am that's when we  had a power outage this morning. It lasted for about 40 minutes. Power was out from 50th street to Victoria trail South of 137th ave. I was concerned if it went on all day we could miss our WWE wrestling pay-per-view and miss out on "Money in the bank." Next to Wrestlemania its the wrestling pay-per- view we like the most. Now that we can get all 12 of them on the WWE network. Money in the bank starts at 5pm. Last night both my sports teams won: Chicago won in Tampa Bay 2-1  (game #6 Monday) as the Esks/Riders game was under way in Fort McMurray in a pre season game 31-25 Esks. I have tonight.

I need to get that form from the resident manager tomorrow. The form cancels out having us to uproot 15 years of living   (the inspection) We did this twice already and each time the inspector comes in he finds no bed bugs. If he finds evidence of bed bugs, then we have to comply since the inspection (3rd time this year) is on a Friday it would give us some time over the weekend. I can see 1 or 2 bed bug inspections/year but 3-4? That stresses people out and people will move out. We may as well live out of a suitcase. That's not living. I see advantages of having a condo. No need to worry about crap like this but we can't afford a condo. We can barely afford rent here. We're not the only tenants that got the inspection notice. They were handed out all across the complex. Its going to be a busy week for me. Anyway, that's all for now.

Saturday, June 13, 2015

I've got a unexpected week off

next week but back to work next Monday. Especially since I've got a Doctors appointment Friday and we got this inspection hanging over our heads. What's great about this week off is I might be able to catch the Eskimo's/Riders preseason CFL game in Fort McMurray today and game #5 of the playoffs.

I've got my sights on the Electribe Sampler. I called LM and they said ETA should be about mid July. I'm almost sorry I bought Maschine MK2 when I did since Maschine Studio came out within a year of MK2 and another Maschine could be 1-3 years away. Any Maschine software packs after MK2 won't work with MK2. At least with the Electribe and my Komplete 8 I can create a wav file and import said file to the Electribe. Anyway, that's all for now.

Friday morning

and things are moving along nicely. Not a lot going on over the last few days. Just working the job thing. It's a half shift today but a full one tomorrow. I'm going into Tim's for breakfast tomorrow.

Yesterday shortly after I left for my commute Anne says that's when the office downstairs slipped another bed bug inspection notice under our door. This makes the 3rd inspection notice this year. It seems they do this every time a tenant moves out. Its the usual drill: dry all clothes and bedding, drapes and pack them away move everything out from the cupboards and all furniture out from the baseboards etc. The notice comes with 3 pages of instructions. What we've been doing previously is to get a form from the office which waives the inspection and all that work and allows the guy to come in shine his light in small nook and crannies. He says all clear and sets a few traps and comes back ten minutes later. "No bed bugs here." I need to check with the landlord and tenant and find out if this is legal. I can see once a year but this is the 3rd time now. We might as well just haul our belongings off to storage and live out of a suitcase. I'm getting the form on Monday after I call landlord and tenant. Right now its only June. The next inspection notice could be anytime.

Sunday is WWE "Money in the bank." Anne has a nice rack of baby back ribs. Yesterday Dusty Rhodes (American Dream) Hall of Fame wrestler passed away at the age of 69. Most likely, that'll be mentioned. Dusty is survived by his two sons Cody and Gold Dust still active on the Roster. anyway, that's all for now.

I barely caught my bus

out here and this unfamiliar guy sits down "how are you?" "Do I know you?" Harlin. Last time I saw him was at the Heart and Stroke. I didn't think about asking him what happened with his not being re-hired on at HS but we got caught up a bit.

Anne rode the train with me to Corona as she was going to Campus station and to West Ed to use our scene points to go see a movie and bring me back some Chinese food. I caught my bus and off at the corner and read my book for awhile before I got into the office.

I had a decent shift and I was able to catch my 9:25pm to Corona and I decided to walk home through Clareview Town Centre to watch what was left over of wrestling and enjoy my Chinese food. I had a great time with Raw. Anyway, that's all for now.

My sinuses and

mild toothache pain along with the hot weather and a stiff neck did not make me good company yesterday. I was coughing up mucus all day. I'm feeling better now.

Crosswalk.com's photo.

Even though I posted this on my Face book page yesterday it still rings true now more then ever.

The next FIFA event at Commonwealth stadium wont be until This coming Thursday. I doubt there will be 50,000+ fans in attendance on that day.

This week I'm going to try and go to the medi centre before work and get something for this virus that's been hanging    around off and on since April. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sunday, June 7, 2015

Day one of the FIFA

tournament last night Canada won 1-0. There was 53,000 in attendance at Commonwealth Stadium.

There was a lot going on what with FIFA and Pride day and Justin Trudeau and NDP leader Thomas Mulcare. There was a custom made running shoe event going on as well plus there was other activities, like the Craft beer festival underway at the Expo centre. Lots going on.

Today Anne and I are out at Capital Pizza and a ice cream treat at dairy queen. Anyway, that's all for now.

I'm still bringing up a lot of

phlegm but for the most part that cold I had last week is almost gone but never say never right?

The other day ETS went and fired their top manager over all the recent delays over the opening of the Metro line. Metro was supposed to be in full operation a year ago but ETS hired Thales to modernize its signaling system. The original system was put together by General Electric. Thales had to merge the old technology from 1978 with the new technology and that's why there had been so many delays. ETS's last manager had over 30 years of experience in transit so he ended up being the scape goat in all of this. ETS says the Metro line will be opened when its reliable enough. Translation: When the City can have a staged opening and the Mayor can make his speech with the Province, Feds and ETS partners as a backdrop. In the meantime the testing of cars along Metro and Capital lines is continuing, stay tuned.

Anne's getting up in about half an hour and wants to go over to Wendy's for me before she heads to work. Great. Then I can get cleaned up and leave out of here for Lodge.

Wednesday, June 3, 2015

I'm dropping off my application form before I leave

out of here this afternoon. Its just a formality to show I live here. No damage deposit will change hands etc. Management can't do anything because they had their chance back in November 2000.

At the moment I'm just working out the week. Yesterday on the job was slow going. At least I got out at a decent time and home about 10:30pm. It's so nice leaving from work to home when it's still light out there.

Anne bought me a new backpack and made us a nice prime rib dinner. Not much going on today, except to drop that application off at the rental office and into work. I had to cancel the Doctors appointment but just as well because they were going to call me to rebook because the Doctor is about to retire soon. That's good because I can sleep in without having to wake up to go anywhere but lodge. It's our last meeting before we break for the summer. Anyway, that's all for now.
