sleeping pill earlier this morning I was able to get close to 8 hours of sleep today. I'm ok for the day, just getting the coffee ready.
Tuesday I have a Doctors appointment and while I'm there I'll be investigating more about my Guaranteed Seniors Income, or gsi that I'll (hopefully) will be able to apply for. There's a office on the main level directly under neath my Doctors office. I'll be checking into that as well. I think I made the appointment to late because I need to be at my 2nd job by 4pm. So that might be cutting it a bit close. I'm going to re-book for next week.
To the best of my knowledge I've never been in the Royal City Cafe in downtown New Westminster. I usually went to the Fraser or Pacific cafe 1974. I used to go by there all the time up the hill across the street to my studio apartment.
While browsing through photos members of the "I grew up in Coquitlam." I came across this photo. The post beside it said that the block all the way to the building with the structure on the roof burnt down. That whole block up to that building with the building on the roof burnt down. I checked Google maps and sure enough its a empty lot. The black and white photo is what the corner used to look like in the 1970's. Sad really.
We've got a over cast sky out there and its -3. It was cold last night waiting for that #3 but I still got home in at my usual weekend time, shortly after 7pm. When my first job does that 2 month project they'll have a Sunday shift. Anyway, that's all for now.

months. In a way it parallels Spring like conditions. At least here in
the Edmonton area. The conditions outside, now, look exactly like late
March early April. Even down to the temperature and when the Sun sets.
Only difference besides the name of the month, is Spring promises longer
warmer days and weather. October promises shorter days ahead and colder
weather approaching. The photo below was taken from my iPod Touch.

bit of a recap over the past few days. The Oiler's lost 2 back to back
games: Friday's and the one Sunday night. The Oiler's should have had
that game won last night. We were really pouring it on threatening LA's
fragile lead. Then they crossed checked one of our guys into the boards
and it wasn't called. Then the big controversy: The King's goaltender
grabbed the puck as it was crossing the the goal line but did so in such
a way as to hide the puck in his glove. The goal was under "review" and
it was ruled because the official couldn't see the puck go into the
net, even though the goaltender's glove hand was behind the goal line,
they ruled it a no goal. We got 4 more games to play with these guys.

don't mind the Oiler's losing if they lost because of the way they
played. That's on them. However during the last few minutes of the game,
the Oiler's were better then the Kings but controversy decided the
game. Either way, that's not good for the game.

moving forward, my shift today is 1:30pm-9:30pm. Anne told me when she
worked at where I work now, she'd take the #3 home because she got off
work at 9pm. The #3 is faster to the downtown core and if I miss the #3
I'll take the #7. Both stop near Central station. Besides the #3 makes more sense as I can get my coffee at Starbucks on 101st and Jasper. If its still there. As long as the #3 says Jasper Place, I'm good to go. This week looks like its all going to be 1:30pm-9:30pm. I'll get home about 10:20pm to watch wrestling. Anyway, that's all for now.

Evelyn Paglini RIP March 31, 2014Dr. Evelyn Paglini, beloved long-time Coast to Coast AM guest, has passed away. She was a major player in the physic community. I wasn't much of a fan but I appreciate her contribution to the realm of mysticism.
Today I'm out the door 5-9 for my late afternoon commute but at least the weather is good so I can't complain. I like the shift but the money's no good, just get a grip on yourself.

Warhammer 40K Horus Heresy novels at Audrey's books but after checking their online ordering system, some of the books are out of print. They have a lot of them at various EBay sores of course but that would mean to get all 22 books (and growing) I'd have to go through a lot of stores on EBay. Then I thought maybe Games Workshop in West Edmonton Mall (WEM) might have them. They've got them listed but I'll call tomorrow to see if they have them all in stock. I wont get them all at once but at least it gives me an reason to visit WEM now, and under construction, there's a Best Buy store being put together in the mall.
Anne doesn't like me feeding Boots milk from my breakfast in the morning because it causes him to have the runs but I didn't know about this until after I took this photo:
Monday night Raw was pretty good this evening and on a scale from 1-10, I'd rate it about a 9. I knew something was going to interrupt the polygraph (lie detector) test
I was going to go into work this afternoon for 4 hours but Anne had taken the bus pass to put the rent in the bank and didn't get home until 5:30pm and I had no money to get downtown except what was on my ATM and its not like ETS passengers can buy a single ticket from the machine or anything. So this week, its in for 8 hours for Tuesday and Wednesday and I'm going to try for 3 hours in the morning and 4 hours for the afternoon losing an hour but Thursday evening its Lodge and Friday its the hangover and my banking and then Saturday I'm (hopefully) going to WEM for those Warhammer books. Anyway, that's about it for me for now.

The idea was for Anne to meet me at work and then we go to the Oliver Square location Sawmill after that but Danny told me that the Sawmill is closed down. So much for this idea. I'm feeling kind of wiped out anyway. She called about ten minutes ago on her break and we tossed a few ideas around and I suggested Swiss Chalet. It's just down the block. She likes that. We don't have to get on a train and run all over town. I decided not to go to the installation only because I'm wiped out. Besides, I'm going to go in the New Year and put my affiliation in.
Kingsley brought in his new Iphone 4S. It's got new features like "Face Time" and "Icloud" and has an 8Mp camera in it. I was wiped out this morning but I asked him to take this photo of me in the office. It's hat day Saturday and that's my friend Warren with the Montreal Canadians took on. I was feeling ok, I think I just look a little worn out in this photo.
That's the TV in the corner we watch. You can see I'm slightly away from it so I got to leave my station to check on the sports scores.
Yes, I have 2 beautiful days back to back. I'm going to miss this office in the Baker Centre. Apparently we're out of here Tuesday December 13th, next week. I learned that we're going to have security cameras but not at every station but apparently we're not having the monitors anymore. Maybe we'll have the big screen 70" TV mounted for everyone to see. Apparently it's going to be in the lunch room, which doesn't make sense. It's like you buy a new car and you drive it only when it's sunny. Anyway, that's all for now.
