Yesterday on the job

wasn't too bad. We have a beat up source, and wont make our target goal. I hope we're at the end of this project. 

I got my monthly laptop maintenance this week. They just need to have me power it on. I don't need to babysit it. I can go back to bed. 

BC is going to switch to standard time next week. This means that Alberta will be in between 2 different time zones. Back in 2021 the question was asked should Alberta switch to standard time like Saskatchewan? 52% of Albertan's agreed to remain. Anyway that's all for now.

It's labour day

here in Canada and US. I used to enjoy this long weekend when I was working with the Army & Navy in the 80s. That was the last full time real job I had. That's another story.

Wednesday, my employer is doing laptop maintenance by remote. They do this once a month just to make sure the laptop is running smoothly. We get a small stipend a few times a year because we half to get up early to power up the computer. This way tech support can call us if there are any issues.

Tomorrow, I'm heading over to Bonny Doon Mall, (Rogers) to pay my cell phone bill. Giid time to go because we're out of the heat wave. I want to visit the Telus store as well, because I want to use this bought phone as a webcam but it needs to be on the same wifi network. Plus I can get a bite to eat as well. Anyway, that's all for now. 

Tueesday was nice

easy and quiet. 

On August 5, 1989 the largest game of Musical Chairs took place in China with a whopping 8,238 participants at the Anglo-Chinese School in Singapore. Three and a half hours later, the game ended with the lucky 15-year-old winner Xu Chong Wei on the last precious chair.

Anne is setting my alarm for me for 9am. The job want's me to power up my work laptop to do some routine monthly maintenance. I don't need to do anything but to power it on. Anyway, that's all for now.
