We're getting our

insurance sorted out because we have this under a 2 bedroom but there are 2 different mailing adresses. Our Insurance provider doesn't get what we mean. We should just give them 1 adress, not two. Anne is confusing the insurance company.

On top of all of this I have a mild toothache from a broken tooth that is letting me know, its causing me some grief. The insurance company needs to know this is one lease, not 2.

The good new is my new compression stocking vendor, is setting up account to order a new pair, I can hopefully get them sometime this month.

So much for my prediction but Artemis 2 was launched at ~ 4:30pm EST. Mission seems to be going smoothy.

Tonight it's part 2 of the Rose Croix for my 17 & 18° degrees. This will be it until October. We're looking good. Anyway, that's all for now.

Yesterday I got the energy

to overwrite my 2Tb nvme ssd and install and change the drive letter in Bios. C now has 1.81 Tb of free space remaining. The 500Gb I bought in 2020 for 3 years. As long as I'm stingy about what to download, this should last me a long time

I'm up at 7am tomorrow morning to go to Healthcare Solutions leaving here at ~ 8:00 to get my compression stockings. After that, I might get some breakfast at McDonald's and head over to London Drugs across the street to get that screen protector for my Sony camera. It's only $10.

The Oilers and the NHL are in training camp mode. I'm not really interested in the NHL this year. I might wait until they make the playoffs. If that happens. Anyway, that's all for now.

Working through the project

and barely halfway through, I had a decent day. I hadn't received any flack from the respondent about the Queen's funeral. Earlier before my shift, I made a couple crucial phone calls. One of those calls has potentially life-changing implications for Anne and me. I have my doubts we'll benefit from that call anytime soon.

Yesterday was a bit on the cooler side of late September as we're in the high temp teens, weather-wiseπŸ™ This is more my kind of weather.

The other call I made had to do with Anne picking up compression stockings since I'm working now and she has the time off tomorrow. Anyway, that's about all for now.

I ended up going out to Northgate

Friday to healthcare Solutions and it was raining when I went out. As I was waiting for my #104, the rain slowly dissipated to a weak drip when my bus arrived. I couldn't get my compression stockings because Aids to Daily Living allows for 3 pair/year at the discount price, so I won't be able to get my 3rd pair until September 8th. But I got my measurement's done, and some breakfast at McDonald's. I was home before noon.

The Elks are in Vancouver playing an 8pm game against the BC lions. I'll be following that game tonight. Hopefully, we can win on the road.

Since 2019 I've been using the Pacer app to keep track of my steps since my 2015 iPod's health and fitness tracker is on the anemic side. It served me well for 3 years., but I'm tired of carrying my iPod around everywhere I go. Anne got so tired of it as well so she went and bought me a Fitbit Versa 3 smartwatch. It's on its way from Amazon and hopefully will arrive before my 70th b-day next week. Plus I can put my tunes on it like the iPod and the watch also has built-in GPS, unlike my old iPod. I'm expecting my new Smartwatch to arrive between now and the 26th of this month. Cool.

Next week: I got the lodge BBQ going on next Saturday. I'm working on a track for tomorrow. Other than that, not much else is going on. Anyway, that's all for now.

On Monday I went out to

the West end for my Community Care assessment appointment. West Lawn school. I haven't been out to the West end in a long time. After my assessment they booked a case worker for me for home care. Home care is  going to do some leg compression, so I can get my Aids to Daily Living account renewed to get my compression stockings at discount prices. First phase is to ask the Covid pre screening questions. Then they come to my place and apply a special kind of stocking to get some initial leg swelling down before I can get the real stockings.

Finally I was able to get my Groove Agent 5 plugin, registered/activated/installed. I'm still learning how to use it. Also, I was able to get Cubase pro 11 to screen record with sound by using Reastream. I was doing it all wrong. So now its working with OBS Studio perfectly. One instance goes to the master bus (the E on the "channel strip") in Cubase, the other to OBS Studio. in Fl. Studio, Reastream goes into the Fx rack in the mixer. One scene in OBS, for any one daw at a time. Just switch daw's not scenes. I use 27.1.1 as the streaming address in Reastream. Works great. I now need to figure out how use Output Arcade in Cubase.

I thought πŸ’Holy moly, the Oilers won 4 straight games. Am I dreaming?πŸ’ Then last night they won their 5th straight win. They haven't done that good on the road since 1987! Is their luck about to run out tomorrow when they meat Toronto? Can they go for 6 wins? Of the 4 games Oilers played these guys we won 2. Anything can happen so stay tuned. Anyway, that's all for now.

Is this really for real

that I'm making 2 back to back blog posts? Yes and for the first time in many months, as I'm posting less on Fb. Some people might think I'm becoming obsessive over there and since this blog (or so I think) doesn't get that traffic here. in other words, more posting here, less there.

πŸ€”The heals of my feet are heavily calloused. Yet this came as a bit of a surprise when the 3 month old athletic compression stockings revealed a whole about the size of a quarter in them. I'm on the Aids to Daily Living (ADL) program, where I get a discount on compression stockings where I get 3 pair of compression stockings per cycle/year. My next cycle won't be until November 17th. Normally these compression stockings should last 6 months according to Google. When I was visiting the foot nurse at Northgate last April (2019) she said I should buy 2 pair of stockings and alternate them every other day. Note to self.

My ssd c:\\ drive (as of about an hour ago) was down to mb of space out of its 120Gb space overall. I uninstalled a program I wasn't using and back up to 1.92Gb of free space. I was looking for gaining more hard drive space solutions: Do I get an m.2 drive and clone onto that or another ssd drive and get a docking station and clone from there? In the end I think that's what I'm going to do this autumn. Ideally I'd love to clone my Xp drive to a partition so I can use my Works processor. I like open office but I don't want to pay for a bundle of programs just to get one. Anyway that's all for now.
