This is a do absolutely nothing

kind of a day.

As soon as its dry out there, I'm taking my walker to BoB Saturday mornings. Most likely, we'll be going to the end of June, so Merril can take "2 months off." He's got more energy then I do.

While, I didn't sign our lodge registry Thursday, I'm in the group photo behind our current DDGM. 

This morning I renewed my subscription to Output Arcade. $17/month but I feel its worth it. Anyway, that's all for now.

I was able to meet with

Our 70 year member last night. I told hhim I was 2 years old when he joined our lodge. He joined before way before amalgamation obviously since Temple Centenial amalgamated in 2002. Bruce joined in 1932. I joined in 2002. .

The Oilers play their last regular season game before the Four nations cup tournament begins. All teams are shut down for 14 days. The tournament is more for bragging rights then anything tournament goes from the 12-20th played at the Bell Centre and TD gardens in Boston.

I decided (not that I needed to) take a cab to Highlands hall last night. It was just an experiment. It took 10 minutes but was ~ $13. I gave $15. Next time, I'll pay for the ride first then the the tip. Anyway, that's all for now.

Tomorrow is lodge night

and I think I want to travel by cab. I can leave out of here at 6:15 for 6:30pm arrival. I'm "playing" Scotland the brave," Tyler. "Victory is ours," Grand lodge officers and "Holy, holy, holy." If Hakim offers me a ride home. I'll accept it.

It wasn't a bad day

today. 

After years of resisting this morning I signed up for YouTube premium. I subscribed not just to get ad free viewing on YouTube uit to download as well. However my downloads audio is corrupted. I'll need to fix this. 

About 4pm I got a call from Amazon. My winter boots? Sure enough they arrived. Good stuff. And they fit. Excellent. So I'll be wearing these to Lodge Thursday.

Not only that but the Oilers in Saint Louis won in OT 3-2. So all in all it's been a pretty good day. Anyway, that's all for now.

I'm not going to

worry over things I can't control. More or less, that's always how I've handled things. 

I'm more concerend on getting Anne and I into a low income seniors housing program that takes pets. We are registered with one of the major players in that area. I'm looking for other options.

As for this week, I have Monday night Raw on Netflix to watch tonight. Tuesday & Wednesday 2 Oilers games. Thursday out to lodge, Friday night is another Oilers game. Saturday is open. Anyway, that's all for now.

Today US president Trump

imposed a 25% tariff on Canada & Mexico. This has sever implications for our 2 countries. As a Canadian citizen, I'm anxious over the future of Canada. Trump is a bully. These tariff's have one aim: To take over my country. Our leadership wants and should retaliate. There isn't a lot we can do. In the weeks and months ahead, I'm affraid this country will be absorbed by the United States. There is nothing I can do. I'm an old man, with medical complications. I don't need this shit. 

I was suposed to have a

shift tonight but the project ended☹️But this could be a break as was hinted at from the start of this project. I'm hoping mid February work resumes

Add insult to injury we have a snow day. We're at -12°c. Feels like -19°c Can't complain because we had it pretty good until just recently. February around here is usually cold as it is.

At least I can watch Smackdown tonight and I have BoB to go to tomorrow morning and there's the Oilers game hosting Toronto 5pm tomorrow. Anyway, that's all for now.

I just finished reading

Timothy Zahn's Icarus Twin. Very enjoyable. I'm onto "Icarus job."

A full week ahead

 well at least up to Friday. Hopefully I'll get a schedule in my email Thursday. I need the hours but I'll take a week off if we have something else. 

I just have Band of Brothers for Saturday at 8am. I'm ok with that and depending on the ground conditions, I'll walk over to FCC.

One cool thing about being "musical director" at my lodge I can play my own pre recorded music before we tyle. Liquid drum & bass would blend in well with that kind of atmosphere. Or some nice Island chill. Anyway that's all for now. 

I tried going to bed about

3am yesterday but I was suffering from hypersomnia from the day before Friday morning. I got up at 4am and stayed up until 5am then went to bed and wokeup at about 10am. My shift began at noon so I had 2 hours to wake up.

I ended up with 6 completes on the sjif which was double my flow rate. I'm sure Super was happy. with that. This week I have 5 days @ 5 hour shifts. 

The worst of yesterday was I forgot there was a 2pm Buffalo Sabres/Oilers game and I forgot about the game. Silly Jimmy. Oilers won 3-2. Oilers play on Monday Seatle in town. 

Not sure what our next project is but I'll get a schedule in my email. The other thing I need to follow upon is this Drive happiness program and if we qualify. Anyway, that's all for now. 

I never made it to Chapter Thursday night.

because my proposed ride never called. We called for a taxi to meet me outside by the rental office entrance G. I was waiting out in the bitter cold wind leaning on my cane and the back end of a vehical.

I'm the blue dot by entrance G. The driver went right by me in red, messing the entrance sign. It was bitter cold out there. It was ~ 6:35pm. I figured I didn't want to arrive late. I called the Chapter secratary and passed along my regrets. I decided since I had a night off (not that i wanted one) I may as well sit back enjoy the Canucks Oilers game. Oilers won 6-2.

Last night I did my 5 hour shift. I'm managing to hold out ok. Today is for 3 hours noon-3pm. Then all next week 4-9. No Masonic events. I have BoB Saturday Febuary 1st. 

Speaking of February 1st Jim Audio is releasing Groove Rider 2. I'm really lookng for ward to this app. It's expensive @ C $40. It's 87.3 Mb. wow. Anyway, that's all for now.

It's been a steady work week

but I'm off tomorrow to headout to my Royal Arch chapter. For once no degree's are being conferred. I'm a bum in a chair. 

I'll be back to work Friday and a short shift Saturday. That's pretty much my weekend. There's an Oiers game in there as well, and I'll be working on another video. Anyway, that's all for now.

I haven't composed a blog post yet this year?

Life just got in the way with work and all. So today is the day Trump might impose a 25% tarif on all inports from Canada. If he does, Canada will respond. 

This week, I'll be working fro 5-9 except Thursday, I have Chapter. I got to get ready my prove up next month. I got most of it done.

Earlier last month I went from Open office to Libre Office writer for my diary. I also got Windows 11 installed on this computer earlier this month. I can use microsoft emoji's. We'll see what Trump does this afternoon. Anyway, that's all for now.
