I had some work laptop

maintenance done this morning before work resumes Tuesday. That was round one of laptop maintenance. The one Tuesday is round 2. Two different things.

Scaler music released Scaler 3 recently. I downloaded it to my Windows desktop. Scaler is it's own Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) now. Scaler 3 scans VST's and plugins in ones inventory. Cool.

March has been a busy month. I'm glad it's all but over. Anyway, that's all for now.

I enjoyed Chapter

last night but there was some disconnect with the music. I had it but apparently the DOC said what I had didn't line up with what he remembered. I should have just played it through the Grand Chapter website.

We've been getting steady snow for almost 36 hours now.

If all works out ok

when I go back to work next week, there will be no obsticals with my internet connection. That's my main concern at this point.

Earlier I made an order renewal for my meds. Including insulin. That's $100 every 3 months. I'm looking at picking them up Saturday morning across the street from the old place before my Amazon order arrives.

Tomorrow night I'm out at Chapter. That should be interesting as I'm in a different environment. Same suroundings.

Dallas/Oilers game at 8pm tonight. Should be a good one. Anyway, that's all for now.

Yesterday I received

some distressing news: An old lodge brother of mine passed away. Neil Lonsbury. I think Neil was in his early 80s when he passed at his home in Saint Albert Alberta. Neil was the one who sponsored me into Freemasonry in 2002 in my lodge. He was our organist, a chair that I'm sitting in now as musical director. I was at Neil's 50th observance (50 years in the craft) at the Shrine centre here in Edmonton a few years ago. Neil was well liked across both branches of Freemasonry. He almost had a joke to tell at festive board, and that humor carried over into lodge. He will be missed.

Ijaz managed to do our taxes and sent in our T183 forms to be signed. At least I hope he did. I sent them back to be filed with CRA.

Not much going on today. I'm trying to get one more piece of music at the Grand Chapter website for an upcoming degree. I hope to be in Leela's stream this afternoon and I want to prep another video for later. Anyway, that's all for now.

Our first full week here

in the new place. We decided to wait until we're settled in before we participate in any of the programs here for seniors.

I spent just over $4,200 between down payments and moving. Good thing I'm about to get work next week so I can begin to pay for this.

Right now the most important item on my agenda is getting our taxes done. Our tax person isn't being very helpfull at the moment because he is sick. I have no details. I have an alternative if we can't get any activity this week.

Anne's mucking around with Amazon

orders and making taxi travel plans and I'm trying to get our taxes ready for our tax guy for tomorrow. Yeesh. The Amazon order is out for delivery. never a dull moment arround here, lol.

Our GSI (top up) is tied to our income tax form filing. That's why its critical that we file asap. Then I can relax.

Six months in as a Royal Arch Mason and I'm already doing important work in our Chapter. I have small part in an upcoming degree, I hope to be the first ever chapter "musical director." lots of good stuff going on. All of that and there is an Oilers game on TV tonight. Anyway, that's all for now.

We're slowly unpacking

to our new place. This week I need to get a Doctors note for the breaking our lease under grounds that we can't take the stairs anymore, and this place was offered to us without notice. We toured it 2 weeks ago and signed the lease Monday. It cost us $2,600 to move from my funds. My rent is taken out of a void cheque from my pension, which covers the utilities. We have a nice 2 bedroom apartment. Actually it's 2 1 bedrooms with an arch opening. We get to bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 kitches, 2 bathrooms with all matching appliances. Thank you senior housing. Anyway, that's all for now.

Most of what we have is

packed away. There is still a lot of stuff in the fridge to pack and a lot of cables sneaking around my office and the bedroom. The 2 TV's. And she wants to stay up untill 2am to watch shows? All that and she wants to sleep untill 8am. Holy tight window Batman.

About 7:20pm, at dusk I took one last video of outside, panning the camera to 137th Ave and to Sifton Park. not that I'm going to miss this place.

The moving company called to confirm our 10am move. They called my cell. I was hoping for a 27 foot cargo truck but all they have is an 18 foot trailer attached to a pick up truck. We'd be looking at 1 and a half loads. 2 trips. I gave Anne 2.3K. Most likely I'd be looking at another 1k. Jeebus.

Anne ordered us a taxi van for around 10:30am so we can take a load to our undisclosed location (apartment), including our 2 cats, my key lights, my back pack, loaded to the brim.  I'll be giving the movers the keys to this apartment so they can come back for the second load. Plus, we have a 9-10am window for Telus Thursday. Good news is, we're almost at an end to this. Anyway, that's all for now.

Still packing

our things for the movers Wednesday morning. We have about 50 boxes and roughly 30 pieces of furniture. Our king size bed has a metal frame, box spring, matress and four inches of memory foam for the matress. Every night Anne's been taking boxes over to the new place. She took two carts earlier. Tomorrow it's one more load. Then we're removing all our Telus cables and our ethernet cables etc. Plus there's all of my underdesk computer cables.

My family, Masonic breathern, most of my Band of Brothers from church will be told, of the new place. The only ones that wont be told are 2 people that threw me under the bus (gaslight) me. I don't hate them. It's that they are no longer welcome in my life. I've moved on.

Anne took a load over to the new place

a few hours ago. Mostly food and stuff. She'll have another load to take over tomorrow night. I'm shutting off our Internet here Tuesday night, and all cables to the internet will be in a separate bag. Same with my computer. When the movers get here Wednesday morning, I think we're bringing my tower/monitor and work laptop. I'd like to take my green screen but we're letting the movers do that.

As for tomorrow, I'm taking a cab to my Doctor so I can get a medical not that I'm moving into a seniors residence for health (I can barely climb the stairs) and finincial reasons. We're only telling a few people where our new address is. Hopefuly, we'll be moved into the new place Wednesday. It took a lot to get us there. I have people that threw me under a bus (gaslight) these we're friends. They betrayed me. I'm not telling them where I'm moving and or giving anyone my cell number but to only a few people. Anyway, that's all for now.

All I need for our rental office is a Doctors

note, and I'll be going in Monday morning for that. That should be wasy to get.

Getting closer to the big move

on Wednesday. We have ~ 50 boxes to move plus single items, like the bed, book cases, 2 TV's computers, my green screen etc. This is our last move. Telus is coming in on the next day to hook up our service. I need a Doctors note on Monday. I left a message. Most likely I can just walk in as its a walk in clinic.

I enjoyed Lodge last night, although my sugars were dropping near the end. I pigged out on 3 slices of cheese cake. Anyway, that's all for now.

We went and sined the

the lease earlier this afternoon. Saturday I bought myself a used iPhone 11. After our business with our new housing provider, we went and got a bite to eat and I got a cell phone plan, $36/month. More on this later. That's all for now.
