Its been quiet around here lately

there's been no other drama around here other then Monday night and winning a bit of cash playing black jack.

On my way into work not expecting anything, I see a co worker I haven't seen get off the stop at my first job. I said hello asked what's going on. He said he didn't know. I'll try and pop in after work at the other place. I had a decent night on the job. We're done on the May Friday 13th on the 2nd job. I took the bus to Corona and Clareview. A bit of waiting at Clareview and I was home at 9:30pm. Only a half an hour difference. Not to bad.

I called the Super at the first job and he said what project we're starting on Monday. I should call the boss Friday to see what he has in mind. Best I could do because I need 3 days at the other job and lodge is next week, is Friday and Saturday. Then I got 3 days for the 2nd job and I'll be back on track with that until September. I'll call the boss before I leave out of here.

I bought a black jack card yesterday and I won $7. Not to bad. Other then that, that's about it. Anyway, that's all for now.

I'm cutting back on my intake of

diet Cola. I'll drink a bit with meals, that sort of thing but in between meals and even at work, its Crystal light. Anne puts 2 in a picture, which is one liter of cola. The important thing here is more water less sugar pop=less weight. I hope. We hope to qualify for a rec centre pass as we mentioned last week. I'm hoping for the summer off so I can set up getting my teeth done and make some appointments use the rec centre and lose weight.

In my sleep I had this dream about Scientology. It had something to do with a book I discovered at a bus stop and this girl comes running up to me, "Oh there it is," reaching out to secure the book from me, "I thought I had lost my book, thank you so much..can I buy you a coffee as a reward?" Inwardly I rolled my eyes. In my dream she was a nice put together package. She had a car nearby. There were a few fragments of dream here. "I was waiting for a friend off the bus, but I think I found another." She smiled as we walked to her car and "accidentally" dropped her book and bent over to slowly pick it up her book, giving me a good look. "I hope I'm not detaining you from somewhere. I can give you a lift if you like?" Feeling adventurous: "I'm on my way into work," I explain the address."Oh there's a coffee place there across the street. We can talk and I'll make sure you get to work on time." We're drinking coffee and she tells me her life's story (dream fragments) She gives me her card and I slip it into my pocket without looking. "Call me. I'm free Saturday afternoon. Maybe we can party together?" I'm thinking wuwho, doing a left arm fist pump. During my break in the dream I call the phone number and its not in service. Ok, off to the store next door for something ( I for get what it was) Walking to the office door I see her parked car across the street. Maybe she lives in that apartment building. It's only 6:30. (dream fragments) I stop to see her get out of the car hurry to the sidewalk and rush to the bus shelter across the street. There's a woman in the bus shelter. I couldn't see much in between breaks in the traffic. What I did see to close out the dream was the Scientologist and her new friend heading towards her car and driving off into obscurity. I pulled out her card and in fine print under her name it read "recruitment officer" no name. Most dreams are weird but I never had one about Scientology before. I flirted with them here in Edmonton in 1980, briefly taking their "personality" course. Scientology made local news here when the group known as "Anonymous" surfaced and "began attacking" Scientology in 2008. Since then Scientology has located themselves in a industrial park somewhere in NW Edmonton.

Its a beautiful day out there for a change as we close out April and move into May. I'm enjoying my first coffee of the day and I'm in for another 4 hours tonight. I hope my first job will call me back between now and Friday, anyway, that's all for now.

Yesterday was a typical

Monday heading into work under overcast skies but less wind. We've been getting a bit of light rain over the weekend. We get a few episodes of this every time this time of year. Reminds me of April 25th 1980. There was a change of #5 bus drivers by Audrey's, which slowed thing down. The bus was loaded until my stop at the job and I barely got in the office by 4pm.

Every time when one of us gets a "sale" we put our first name on a piece of company logo paper, drop it into this clear plastic box. The boss mixes them all up and pulls them out like a lottery. I seldom win. Drum roll.....the pick. "Jim" I won a $25 Canadian tire gift card. Nice. That was ok but when the first half rolled around and ended, I got nothing to put on my tally sheet. Not one sale and or 1 online. Work went by slow as we're closing out the last few weeks of the campaign. No "sales". With my new found luck I thought, lets go to the store at break. My intention was to get a 6/49 lottery ticket. I had a set group of numbers. The prize for Wednesday was $17M. Remember that number. In comes one of my coworkers. Dave has been pretty lucky with playing the scratch and win black jack cards. He's been winning a few dollars here and there. The cards are $2 each. He bought 2.

I bought 1. Inside the office I'm plying round #1 on the card. Nothing. Round 2, on the left I had 17, 17, 17, 17. I won $25. Remember that 17? I went next door to cash in on my winnings and got a big wu-who! from the machine. The lotto 6/49 draw for Wednesday is $17M! 17 was my lucky number for the day. Back to work, I ended up for the first time ever on this campaign with nothing on my tally sheet. Joyce drove Dave and I home and dropped me off at my place first. Quite the day.

I have better luck playing scratch and wins more then I do playing 6/49 or Proline. I probably should have picked up a few more black jack cards but I can do that later today and take a photo of the card. I'll update this post latter tonight with the image. Anyway, that's all for now.

Our local weather has been

Spring like with a light rain and snow mix in the evening and its been cold over the last few days. Its been about 4-9 degrees. We don't get the teaming rain like we used to around here for this time of year.

I was lucky to get my #5 bus just after the shorty (short bus) and into the job shortly before 10am. A brief kick-off and surprise Joyce showed up. It meant I get a ride home! Wu who. I actually had a decent day as well getting 4 confirms and 1 online. I'm concerned about after May 15th when this job runs out of work, because my market research job for this month has been in a state of suspended animation for this month. They've got a few projects coming up hopefully next week. What I'm hoping for is my market research job lasting until the end of June. Then after the market research job breaks for the summer I've got a lead on another possible job. A colleague I've been working with since the year 2000 is going over there but its all the way out by Direct buy. He worked there as well a year before I did. Its a long way out but I only need the job until September. Anyway, after work, Joyce drove me home under cold Edmonton skies. Heading East along 129th I noticed Rob had a bit of a crew working. I went to the blood pressure machine after Joyce dropped me off at Shoppers and I got a reading. No paper in the machine to print off a copy so I took a photo. I got home before 3pm. Anne made us a nice lunch before she headed out to her job. I had the evening to myself at last. Let the weekend begin.

The Valley line officially got underway Friday. There's still preliminary work to be done but that's been more or less ongoing now for awhile. The Cloverdale footbridge will be closed in July. There's a small NIMBY group opposed to this but they don't matter in the scheme of things to come. My concern with these "Save our footbridge" people is that they will somehow get a 11th hour court injunction to stall this line at the last minute. These protestors are doing this more of a stunt then anything else. Anyway I'm enjoying my first coffee and my weekend, that's all for now.

In memory and to honor one of the most

important figures in American music history, Prince. My post today is dedicated to the Genius that was Prince. While I've never been a hard core fan,his music resonated with me throughout his career. I learned about his passing through the Connect 2 Edmonton message board. The first time I heard Prince was "Little red Corvette." Right away I was captivated by this artist. I knew there was something special here but I didn't know what. When I heard "When Doves cry" boom! That was magic. I enjoyed "Thieves in the Temple" and many more. I last watched Prince perform live at the Superbowl half time show IN 2007 and loved it. Prince is right up there with David Bowie and others. There won't be another like Prince. I can't believe this, David Bowie and now Prince, in the same year. My heart is broken.

Today The City of Edmonton will be having a ground breaking event for the upcoming Valley line lrt. This is the biggest project in the city at $1.8B. The Cloverdale footbridge is expected to be removed soon and work on the Valley line will soon be underway.

After Joyce dropped me off out here I went into the new Shoppers Drug Mart (sdm) I wanted to go in and have my blood pressure checked out they have these all in one chairs, touch screens and blood pressure pumps. I just stick my left arm in hit the start button and up pops a graphic. I was at 145/84 right in the middle. Apparently this machine is supposed to generate out a printout without the "smart card" insert. Its a free card but the pharmacist was busy and I wanted to get home. I don't mind doing this once a week, say on a Saturday after work. Its a free and convenient service. The sdm across the street is open until midnight.

I'm having a great week here what with going in for 4 hours and getting home most nights at 9pm. Until I get full pension, I'll be working as much as possible. Then on cpp and oas it'll be 4 days and on cpp, oas. gis, 3 days/week. What with losing David Bowie and now Prince, its been a tough week. RIP Prince, you will be missed. Sigh, anyway, that's about all for now.

Wednesday, April 20, 2016

It was into work for a easy

4 hours. Joyce gave me a ride home and I was inside the apartment by 9pm. I think I'm going to do the 2nd job first and do that 3 days a week when I go on pension. Four more months and I can apply. I snagged this image from Dan Mullet's Face book page, thanks Dan.

                                              Earl Dibbles Jr's photo.
I'm at this job for the rest of the week including Saturday as I need every hour I can get to get a ei claim. I'm going to work as much s I can at the 1st job and work anywhere for the summer. I;ll pause the ei claim when I need it the most, next summer. Anyway, that's all for now.

Tuesday, April 19, 2016

At the moment its partly cloudy

and a bit on the hazy side out there, so it looks like I won't need a jacket going into work later today. I might get a ride home if Joyce is there tonight. She wasn't last night. I was still home in time to catch wrestling and spend some time with Anne out on the balcony enjoying some nice Spring/Summer air.

I'm not a fitness aficionado but Anne went over here to the Clareview rec centre with our notice of assessment (noa) yesterday. She's had the application for a low income adult pass for awhile now. It gives us unlimited use of the facility like the pool, hot tub and sauna and maybe some of the work out facilities as well but I'm not entirely sure. The Goodlife fitness people opened up a 24 hour fitness centre in the old Clareview movies location 20 feet from Best Buy recently but Goodlife appeals to a different demographic then the Clareview leisure centre, which has  more then just fitness. From my understanding of this low income leisure pass is, its 75% off not free to use the pool hot tub etc but I could be wrong. They prepare 2 separate passes including photo id if we are approved. When Anne had the car up until about 2002 we would go to the East Glen pool near Rexall for their Saturday evening adult swim. We liked using the hot tub and sauna. Its good that the City offers these passes to low income, other wise these annual passes are about $500-$600/year and out of reach. If I had time, I'd go pretty much every day. At the moment, I'm more concerned about work over the next couple of months. If I have a ei claim and a couple months off, this summer, (which I'm hoping for) I'd be going pretty much every day and have my evenings off. Anne applied for our pass, which apparently takes 6-8 weeks to process. We should get notification of this by about the middle of June.

There's a good chance I'll be back to my 3 and 3 days again between the 2 jobs. My other job is back (apparently) next Thursday or Friday. I'll have enough for a ei claim if I can work to the end of June. Anyway, that's all for now.

What with all of the

earthquakes happening in Japan and Ecuador over the last couple of days, makes a West coast born Canadian like myself wonder if and when the Big one will hit Vancouver. It was in January of this year that even here in central Alberta we experienced a minor tremor of 4.8. Nothing like what they had in Ecuador over the weekend. And according to this article we could be in for more earthquakes due to fracking in the oil industry. So look out for that one.

I took a crappy video Saturday night of a little iMaschine 2 jam I did on my iPad with my iPod Touch. Using AudioShare, I got a wav file to iMovie. So far so good. Now, how to get the video into iMovie? iCloud. That was actually a good experience. I was able to log into my iCloud account on my pc and the video (357 mb) is now on my pc desktop. I can't email the video because the file size is too big. I tried a free online video conversion tool but it was taking too long to convert the file, so I gave up. I'll try and search for another free online video file converter tool. If I can resize the file I can send it through my email and download it to my iPad and merge the video into iMovie on my iPad and sync from there. I'm searching for a better work flow.

I'm out of here in about an hour to pick up a small cheque at my other job before 3pm. I'll also be able to find out what the work week is like. If they get the green light to go ahead, I'll be able to work 3 and 3 days. I'll walk to my 8:30pm job from there. As its just up the street. It should be a easy 4 hours. I'll be home at 9pm if Joyce is there and settle in for the night. Monday night Raw, woo-who! Anyway, that's all for now.

Sunday, April 17, 2016

I had about an hour to myself

when I got up Saturday morning. Anne made me a frozen sausage egg mcmuffin, type thing with some frozen hash brown patties I defrosted in the mic and I had that with my morning coffee, it was ok. It was a beautiful Spring morning out there on my way to work. The  #5 showed up at last. I haven't seen this for a couple of weeks now. I didn't know if anyone was at the other job on my way in.

                 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CgOBArnXIAARBsH.jpg
The above image is from the Edmonton Journal of a few days ago.

Saturday night I put together a short video using my iPod Touch using iMaschine and audio share. Its nothing special just a little 2 minute jam. I'm having trouble trying to get the wav file out of audio share even though it gives a lot of options. I've tried to email the file and my email bounces it. I forgot to restore Garageband because it can record audio from inter app audio. i think iMaschine only exports its audio to Soundcloud.

Apparently Anne had called me at about 7:30pm but I missed the call. She hasn't been calling me lately. Hopefully we'll have no drama and it'll be a quiet weekend. latter today I'm checking in on Kijiji for jobs. So far it is. Anyway, that's all for now.

I lucked out yesterday when I came into the office

and there was the lady that drives me home. Nice. It's always good getting a ride home. My shift had a few surprises. I thought when I was asked into the office, I thought I was going to be fired but instead they they put some more responsibility. Ok.

The Alberta Government yesterday laid out the budget. Its not a bad budget. I never thought I'd hear me say I don't mind the carbon tax. Anne and I will get $300 cash back at the end of the year. Also, in the budget is a $35 billion job creation program over $5 years. I like this. Jim Prentice had something similar. There's no more carbon capture program and its going to cost $250 million over 3 years to get rid of it I like the fact that the Alberta NDP is promoting pipelines. The budget contains a $250-million plan designed to create 100,000 jobs over three years. It includes: $165-million in tax credits to encourage investors to support small and medium-sized companies. $25-million for the Alberta Enterprise Corp. to spend in an effort to “spur innovation, growth and employment in areas such as clean technology.”  $25-million for apprenticeship and training programs     $35-million “to attract and support new businesses to pursue regional economic development initiatives.”

Anne suggested I call the boss today and say I'll be in Monday to pick up my cheque. That way I wont need to get up and leave early. I can always ask if there's anything going on for next week. I'm beginning to feel a bit of anxiety because my 8:30pm job is over May 15th and I don't know if I'll be back at my market research job this Spring. Anyway that's all for now.

Thursday, April 14, 2016

Still working out the

week. I've been at my 8:30pm job but tonight my ride won't be in so I'll be taking transit home and back about 9:30pm. Its not a big deal. What has me concerned is work slowdown at my market research job. I've got to hustle tomorrow at this time to be there before 2:20pm to pick up my $60 cheque, because the boss is leaving out of there at 3pm. If I can get work from my market research job until the end of May, I'll have enough hours for a minimum ei claim to get us over the summer. The job I'm currently on ends May 15th but picks up again mid September. By that time, my oas application is being processed for next year.

At last our Valley line lrt will begin to break ground April 22nd. Finally. There's still a lot of preliminary work to do like soil samples, allocating power and sewer lines (which contractors have been doing that for awhile now) P3 still needs to go over some initial design wrenches such as grade separation etc. For the most part its ready to go. From conception to build, which began about 2007, we're finally here. Wow, ten years later. The first phase will run from Mill Woods mall to City Centre. Its a 4 year project in partnership with Trans Ed. There's a lot of concrete to pour on this one. The best part about this line is it will be low floor. This time the City of Edmonton wants to keep the signalling simple. There wont be the same kinds of issues as facing our poorly designed Metro lrt. Now that Valley is more or less set, the city is trying to find out where to go after this once Metro is sorted out. The next logical expansion in my opinion should be Saint Albert. Saint Albert is an extension of Metro anyway but it won't be low floor. I'm not expecting to see Saint Albert lrt extension in my lifetime.

Anyway, NHL playoff hockey is just underway. I'm watching game highlights on the news. I'm sympathetic to Anaheim because Shaun Horcoff (ex Oiler) is on that team. I'd like to see him hoist the cup this year. There are no Canadian teams as mentioned previously but there are a lot of Canadian and ex Oiler players on other rosters in the playoffs. Anyway, that's all for now.

Monday, April 11, 2016

Its just a short one for today but that's why I love my Sundays I get to

Sleep in late and have the whole afternoon/evening to myself. I get to read, relax, Ntendo, do whatever. I wanted cross the street out here to go to the dollar store for a pocket calendar for work and a calculator but I was too lazy to do that. It was all I could do to make a lodge related phone call.

I found this on my buddy's FB page this morning. I'll put it under my new "Truth hurts" department. Thanks Dan.

I'm leaving out of here at 3pm for my 8:30pm job and I'll pop into the dollar store where I get dropped off at and pop in just before closing. Tuesday I'll call my other job see what's happening. If I get the call in for Wednesday and Thursday and Saturday, I'll work Friday at the 8:30pm job Friday. Anyway, that's all for today.

Sunday, April 10, 2016

Hey Jim

where have you been? Just working and not a lot too say at the moment. All week I've been working at my 8:30pm job. This is the one that I get a ride home from each day. My ride was in Saturday, which meant I got home before 3pm.

For my entertainment last night, I was watching the last Oiler game in Vancouver. The was the Canucks fan appreciation  night. Lots of the Oiler jersey's in attendance. Plenty of "Lets go Oilers," chants in the crowd. The Oilers actually did pretty good against a better team in their barn. The Oilers skated to a 3-3 tie to go into OT, and that led to a shootout. The shootout had to go to 3 extra rounds and their shooter won. I thought we were the better team though, even though the Oilers finished 29th in the league. They would have done a lot better with a healthy McDavid and RNH. Next season is going to be different when the new arena opens and healthy players report to training camp. Even though there are no Canadian teams in the playoffs, there are apparently 185 Canadians. Also the Oilers ranked 2nd behind Toronto for the upcoming draft lottery. The Oilers have had 4 #1 picks in a row. I'm ok if Toronto gets 1st over all. Bring on CFL football, I can't wait! I hope the Eskimos can win the Grey Cup this year and stick it to the Riders.

I'm playing around with Audio Share and Loopy. With Audio share I can sample other music apps like Grageband and iMaschine. I'm thinking about a account at Long & McQuade for a Zoom audio recorder and a Korg Monotron. Its a $200 account. As for today, I'm working on a beat and reading. Anyway, that's all for now.

Thursday, April 7, 2016

Not much going on in my life

at the moment. Its just been work and eat sleep and repeat. The job has been coming along ok, no surprises there. I have yet to hear from my 1st job but I'll be calling then this afternoon before I leave, just to find out what's going on. I hope I have work with them Saturday but I have a suspicion, the new project will start Monday.

Last night was the last Oiler game held at Rexall place. The Oilers entertained the Vancouver Canucks. Rexall place originally was called the Northlands Coliseum, which opened November 10th 1974. I watched an Oiler game my first couple of months when I came to Edmonton. I don't remember much of the game though but the Oilers were not in the NHL at the time. I'd see my first NHL Oiler game in 1982. New York Rangers/Edmonton Oilers. I still have the original ticket stub somewhere. I paid $15 for my seat. I remember watching the Oilers 1st Stanley Cup win win. I was living here at the time 9644 155th street with the tree  in the middle of the yard. I had a small basement bedroom, near the back left side of the house as my room was barely enough room for a bed and a table. I was 31 years old at the time. I'd see my next 4 Oiler Stanley Cups here at 9710 156th street. My suite was the top floor in the centre. I watched and enjoyed every one of them. And now, last night's Canucks 2 Oilers 6 Victory in front of the fans and Oiler alumni. I didn't see this game, sadly. I was at work. The Oilers play their finale game of the 2015-16 season in Vancouver. I'm sure the Oilers will lose that one. At least McDavid got his 16th and Hall his 26th. The Oilers might not win another Stanley cup but they might get into the playoffs. Its kind of sad really to know the Oilers will never play again in Rexall place. To many, including myself Rexall will always be known as the Colisem.

Today I'm calling the first job to see if I got work this weekend. I'm hoping I'll start Monday. At the same time, I'll be losing ei hours and I'll need everyone I can get. If I didn't have my 2nd job and work for the new project commonsense Monday, I would have lost 24 ei hours if it wasn't for my 2nd job. I lose 1.5 ei hours today and Friday and 3.5 ei hours Saturday. Or 6.5 ei hours for the week. Anyway, that's all for now.

Monday, April 4, 2016

That was over 6 hours of

wrestling that ended shortly before 10pm. Brock Lesnar defeated Dean Ambrose but not by much. The Undertaker defeated Shane sending Shane out on a stretcher. That match took a lot out of the Undertaker. Triple H lost to Roman Reigns while Triple H got help from Stephanie. Triple H got his wife into harms way as Reigns delivered a spear that Triple H avoided not aware his wife was nearby. Roman Reigns is the new world heavy weight champion. I like the return of John Cena to join up with The Rock facing off the Wyatt family. I was surprised that Zack Rider won the Intercontinental. The Diva's tile is now retired and is now called the Woman's championship title. So much more but those were the highlights.

I'm leaving out of here at my usual 3pm time. It's 4:15pm - 8:30pm. Hopefully I'll get a ride home. I'll be picking up a iTunes card after Joyce drops me off at Shoppers drug mart. I'd like to order Loopy and Audio Share. I'll be working at the 8:30pm job until Wednesday but until I get the call from my other job I'll be at the 8:30pm job. I'm thinking this might be my last year with the market research job. I'll have enough ei hours from both jobs just before the Christmas break and my 8:30pm job ends May 15th. I can apply for ei and get it by the end of June. The ei will cover me until the end of August when my pension comes in. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sunday, April 3, 2016

I had trouble sleeping about

9am to about 1:30am  but finally got a few hours in after that and I feel ok. Actually I got up just before 1pm, :)

People are still talking about last nights horrible Flames Oiler game at Rexall place on HNIC. Not even McDavid could do anything about the 5-0 loss at the hands of the Calgary Flames. The officiating was atrocious. First clue at the end of a game of an Oiler loss. But there were some real obvious calls against the Oilers that even had Hockey night in Canada colour commentators shaking their heads. Oilers had 1 power play against the 7 straight for Calgary. I'm on the "Connect 2 Edmonton" Edmonton Oilers thread as Envaneo. Here's my response to last nights game, post #2528: "Interesting how Kelly Hrudey last night said something like, "If the Oilers play their last game here with Oiler alumni in town, that will totally destroy the evening." Remember, McLellan said we'd see a "lot of the old Oilers back." Despite what others think Oiler players have pride, they ran into a hot goal tender, lousy officiating and were under a lot of pressure this being their last "Battle of Alberta" on HNIC at Rexall. That in itself was a recipe for disaster. I'm willing to cut the guys some slack. Relax everyone, Wednesdays game with Vancouver will make up for last nights loss." And I still feel that way but at some point during the off season, the Oilers need to figure this thing out. Or Rogers Place arena along with this recession could see a near empty arena within McDavid's Tenure as a Oiler. Granted with McDavid's injury, that in itself took a lot of wind out of the Oiler's mementum. For off season movement everybody Except McDavid is on the table. Will the Oilers make any changes this summer? Maybe a few: Yakapov, RNH maybe. The Oilers need a Carry Price type goaltender and reduce their cap space. If we get the first round lottery, trade him. Anyway, there are just 2 games left in the season, thank God.

Switching gears here, I'm happy with the changes I made in my computer system last night. I went from running at less then 1% free space to 50% free space. I'm not downloading anything on this machine. I'm keeping it until I go on full pension. I might upgrade the hard drive, that sort of thing.

In a couple of hours, I'm settling into watch Wrestlemania 32. Here's my take on the results of the top 3 matches. First of all, Dean Ambrose/Brock Lesnar. Lesnar wins but at great cost. Following on Monday night Raw, he will "announce his retirement," leaving the show (probably out to make a movie. Roman Reigns/Triple H. Reigns will turn heal to beat triple H because Triple H for the championship. Shane O-Mack/Undertaker. Shane is going to get so beaten up that Stephanie (Shane's sister) comes out to through her support behind Shane to stop the match. Its not enough to have Shane gain control until Monday night when out comes Linda McMahon to through her support for Shane gaining complete control. We shall see. Anyway, that's all for now.

Friday night was a short shift

to say the least. Apparently there are no shifts this week at the 1st job but I still have work. I was home by early last night. I decided even though they were not expecting me at the other job, I'd pop in and pay them a visit at 10am to start. At least I can get some hours in and I was able to get 4 hours in today and home about 3:30pm.

Last night I had had enough of my Xp system and not having a install disk I went right into system recovery and it shut everything down. I couldn't get into safe mode, system restore. I wasn't totally left out. After lunch when Anne left I Decided to F10 and after about an hour of set up stops and starts, I got my system back with most of my settings and saved half of my hard drive space as well. Very happy.

I'm watching a bit of the hockey game and having a good time. Anyway that's all for now.

Just before I left yesterday I thought I'd begin to download the

recent iOS 3.2.1 update, now that I had enough memory. I got about 2 minutes into the download and a message pops up saying my device didn't have enough memory. I was pissed off because this happened before.

My commute into work was ok. We broke at 6:30pm and management ordered Pizza because we hit a milestone. I  had 3 slices of pepperoni something. We had a half hour break which was nice. I got 3 "sales" all night. It was a slow night for everybody. My co worker dropped me off across the street (its on her way home anyway)

So I got into my apartment and decided to try and download the update again. This time I was successful! I really wanted to try the Garageband 2.0 and the new Live Loops but it wasn't working for me. Then I checked the details from the app store on the product and Live Loops only work with 4th Generation iPad's or greater. Mine's the iPad 2. At least iMovie works ok.

Anne came in and made me a chicken burger and fries as we watched the news and a bit of the Late show. Today I'm in at my market research job from 4-9:30pm. Anyway, that's all for now.
