Still no T4's in the mail.

It's not even March yet. I'll begin to panic when it's at the end of March and I haven't got my T4s. We requested them by mail 2 weeks ago. Obtaining my T4s from the CRA website can be challenging. 

The issue with my Sony ZV-e10 camera is it's too bulky for my limited desk space. Plus I have issues with rolling shutter. I should have bought the Go Pro hero at the time. This thing is a beast, and it has a front screen. Plus lots of others like unlimited recording time and a ton of accessories. However, the Go Pro has overheating issues at some recording quality, like 4K, etc. I need to do some more research.  

Lots going on this week: I'm waiting for the mail, I've got 4 Oilers games to watch, plus getting my video uploaded to my YouTube channel. Anyway, that's all for now.

It was cold in here yesterday

even with the thermostat up to 25. The good news our cold snap is supposed to end Saturday. Also, the sun sets today at 6pm.

I just stayed inside today. I was involved in 2 live streams: "The Sound test room" and Jade Starr's "How to app" shows. I hope to do some streaming of my own once I get to, 1,000 subscribers. I'm closing in on 200. 

The only thing I have going on this weekend is my morning bi-weekly Saturday breakfast gathering. It's good to tap into the spiritual current. Anyway, that's all for now.

A little on the cooler side this Family day

Monday. Right now we're -12/-18 but it's mostly sunny out there. our expected cold snap will last for about 3 days this week.

At about 6pm last night, I went to Shoppers across the street to see when I can come in to get my 5th Covid booster shot. Anne was on her way to Superstore to get pop for the week. The idea after Shoppers was to meet up with her at Cork & Barley because Google said they were open until 9pm. It began to snow. So after Shoppers, I headed over to Cork and the sign on the wall read "Closed Long weekends." I should have called ahead but oh well. I went home ahead of Anne, and shortly after she came in. We had a laugh about it. We'll go out tomorrow instead. It's just across the street. Next time, we'll call ahead. That, hockey, BoB Saturday morning.

Other than that it doesn't look like there is going to be any work this month. With my scalp psoriasis becoming worse, I talked with Anne about getting a men's wig. This might be something to consider if I get a tax return. Anyway, that's all for now. 

Just going through the motions

today folks. Not a lot going on. I got the 1st of my T4s, yesterday. First one from the job. My 3 pension forms are coming in the mail. I tried retrieving them from the CRA but omg, what a hassle. I gave up in frustration. 

My last YouTube was very successful. I got 16 comments/likes, and several new subscribers for 179 so far. My next video is ready for upload @ 1pm today. Is a ring light in my future? I'm looking at the Elgato Ring light.

I snagged this meme from Facebook earlier. In my case, when I look back on my life, I'm surprised at the many bullets I dodged. Especially old friends I let back into my life. I need to be more emotionally detached and keep them at arm's length. Some have good intentions and are benign, while others are not. Anyway, that's all for now. 

Just taking it easy

over the last few days. Anne doesn't want to go anywhere until the weekend. Most likely Sunday. She had to work the last 2 days and her last day of 3 is tomorrow. 

Still, no T4's in the mail. No sign of work. We have our bills paid for, even though there is no room for extras. At least that's a small blessing. 

Also, I'm able to watch a lot of Oilers hockey. I'm making videos for my Youtube channel. other than that, not much else is going on. Anyway, that's all for now.

We're not going out tonight for

 Valentine's day today because Anne is working. We're going out on our monthly outing Wednesday instead.

We still haven't got all of our T4's in I'm expecting mine at anytime. our pensions next year are all tied into us filing our taxes. Anyway, that's all for now. 

Not much going on

around here. I have a breakfast meeting at 8am across the street, and the Oilers are in Ottawa at 10:30 this morning. Tomorrow the Oilers are in Montreal and then home. 

Never say never but I don't think there will be any work for this month. This year will be similar to last year work-wise.

Next week on Valentine's day Anne and I are staying local, just around here. We might go across the street, maybe Earls, Smitty's, or even Londonderry mall. Hard to say. Anyway, that's all for now. 

It's been a crazy couple of

days. Thursday I did my part at the lodge. Still, no work schedule as it's been 12 days since the last project. I'm hoping for a schedule Friday, fingers crossed.

The Balloon China sent over that has been the brunt of a lot of jokes lately as everyone knows has been shot down. I'm surprised Canada never intercepted it first and shot it down. We had probable cause.

Yesterday I hauled my butt out of bed at 7am and got ready to head out to health care solutions/Northgate to get my compression stockings for my CVI. I had an hour wait and I was asked if this is my first pair of stockings. It's my 3rd pair per year. The counter girl told me that if that's the case I didn't need to be fitted/measured. How it works is the first pair they measure for changes/swelling. If no change, they let you buy a pair which is 75% off. It's 75% off for all 3 pairs, then come back a month later. If no change, then you can the other 2 or one every 3 months, 

etc. Since my first visit there in 2018, I was never told this before. In other words, I didn't need to get up early. So the lady checked to see if they have any of my compression stocking ratio in stock. Sure enough, they did.😲 My next cycle is May 1st. Anyway, that's all for now.
