Not a lot going on for today. It's a stay at home snow day. I got a Costco muffin waiting for me, diet cola sandwiches. So far its all good.
Last night Oilers Connor McDavid got his 1001 point. 4th youngest player to get to 1000 points in League history. Oilers play in Toronto tomorrow. As for today, its Friday night Smackdown. I'm home all weekend. Anyway, that's all for now.

with not much of anything going on yesterday. I was in 3 live streams yesterday. I watched Monday night Raw. On Facebook and YouTube for most of the night. Today, pretty much the same as yesterday, except the NYI/Oilers game is on at 7pm. Otherwise, rinse and repeat. Anyway, that's all for today.
all I could get was 5 hours. This is normal for me. I think my lack of sleep problem is I nap at my desk while listening to a you tube video. I need to crrect this behavior.

I don't mind Trump winning the US election. Better a "devil" I know then one I don't. As a Nation we have experience with Trump, As for the war in Ukraine, I believe he's going to do the right thing.

Speaking of Thursday, since I am the unofficial "musical director" for my lodge we're going to have ceremony for Rememberance day. I managed to get "The last Post" music for that part of the ceremony. It's going to be a busy lodge night. Anyway that's all for now.

Going to lodge practice last night didn't happen. Late Sunday afternoon/evening ETS bus service is a real challenge here in NE Edmonton. Weekend bus service is at half speed and getting a bus to Clareview is ok but the #104 always ends up going out of service. Next one is half an hour away. I could catch the nearest bus across the street from here but that gets me to lodge to early or 10-15 minutes or later I can't depend on my brothers all the time.
Last nights Oilers/Flames game was a real barn burner. We got the first goal, Then in the 2nd Calgary tied. We got the go ahead and Calgary tied that as well. Late in the 3rd we got the go ahead and won 3-2. Apparently conner will be out of action for another 2-3 weeks. Anyway, that's all for now.

evening where they recognized Dr. Randy Gregg and Craig McTavish into the Oilers Hall of fame. Both of these players made significant contributions to the Legacy of the Edmonton Oilers. McTavish as the last player in the league to not wear a healmet and won 2 Stanley Cups and as coach took the team to the 2006 Game 7 finale. Gregg won 5 Stanley cups for the Oilers and went onto become a Doctor. The Oilers won against Pittsburgh penguins 4-0. Right now the Oilers are 3-4-1 in their last 8. I hope they found their grove last night.
In keeping with local sports, any team playing its last game of the regular season and not making the post season, wants to end their season on a high note and win their last game. Our Edmonton Elks did just that in OT 31-30 against the Argos. Great night for both teams.
My Post modern Rock track on You tube has got 10 views ans so far has 3 coments and 2 likes and I'm @ 212 subscribers. Anyway, that's all for now.
FCC this evening but last night after my flue/Covid shot and the Oilers game over, I developed cramp in my lower left leg. In the thigh. I took a melatonin pill and a pain killer and finally fell asleep by 8am. I woke up shortly before 1pm. I got 5 hours sleep out of all of that.
Over there at The Sound test Room, Doug Woods was showing the new update for the Agonizer bass app. Over the years I thought but, Doug was doing a walk through the new update and the Dub step sound pack. It sounded so good, I just had to buy it. Total ~ $14.
The other day, I finished reading (finally) Timothy Zhan's "Icaras Plot." Took me long enough. Not sure what to read next though.
Tomorrow morning about 11am I'm up to get ready for my 1pm PCN appoinment. I should be him by ~ 3pm. I sent Chapter I have the weekend off. Anyway, that's about all for now.
at FCC last Wednesday. That was a bit of a surprise. If he's not there this Wednesday, I have a feeling that it will be Mary's idea for him not to show up. Drama, yeesh.
In an effort to do some Facebook friends list orginization, I found an old contact. A friend of an old friend of mine from Coquitlam school days from the 60s. Apparently I had last made contact with Dave Winfield July 2015. So I made a chat enquirey. Sure enough my contact replied. I found that Daves wife had passed away last November causing Dave to be depressed and he drank himself to death and passed in the Spring. I have no further details. R.I.P. Dave & Terry.
Nothing developing in the way of work. Normally we'd have 2 projects in tandum for this time of year before our end of the year staff party. We might have something this month but I'm not holding my breath. As soon as I get back to work, everything is going to savings. Anyway, that's all for now.

Thanksgiving 2024 is here. I have much to be thankful for: My wife, my home, my lodge, my music, my job (when I have work) Life is good. The Elks are bettere than they were last year. The Oilers are meh. Other then needing to get back to work, life is good. I have no complaints.
This week Tuesday Anne and I want to head out for a bite to eat. Something keeps getting it delayed. Wednesday, I'm at FCC and that will be my week. Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone. Anyway, that's all for now.
off work and the $ supply is dropping faster then the Titanic. Normally about this time, we'd be starting our regular Thanksgiving week project. The annual ongoing project doesn't have a Thanksgiving theme as I can't say what it is. I'm hoping after the long weekend, we get conformation we can start again.
Today I'm working on my new video in A.U.M as Loopmix will be supporting the "star" of the show "Woodverberator." It's new reverb app that can add new dynamics to the Loopmix environment. Should be a good one.
Also today is Elks/Calgary, @ 2pm. After that Chicago Black hawks is in town to play against the Oilers. Wtch the Oilers lose again. Anyway, that's all for now.

I need a 128Gb SD card anyway. All is not lost because they might have a key light I can pick up or the Elgato webcam mk2. We'll see. The other option if I can't get anything at London Drugs, I might just buy the cell phone. From the Telus store. I have options.
After that, its over to Healthcare solutions. I want to pick up a pair of “Edema shoes” and to check when I can get my next pair of compression stockings. Or at least order a pair. I know they have the shoes.
Anne and I never did get out yesterday but we're aiming for Thursday. Anyway, that's all for now.

Part of the reason why I never watched Monday night Raw on a regular basis over the last 10-12 years was that it was such a long program. Smackdown made more sense to me. Why is WWE showing the main event at 8pm, with an hour left in the show? Then when the main event was over. What is all this 2 person panel crap? Get back to the show already. Wait now, Raw back to its 2 hour format? I found this on Google: WWE has announced it is shortening its flagship Raw programe from three hours to two hours after 12 years. The change will come into force from 7 October until the show moves from the USA Network channel to Netflix in January 2025 Happy days.
If everything works out ok Anne and I are planning on going out for our monthly outing tomorrow at a place downtown. That's going to be nice to get out. Wednesday I have that gig at FCC. Saturday it's off to Lodge. After that over to London Drugs. Anyway, that's all for now.
lodge Thursday night Chris and Hakim were talking about Martinisim. I'm unaware as to what Martinisim is. On the way home Hakim explained it's like Christian mysticism. I can get into that. I did a bit of research on Martinisim, which was founded by Martinez de Pasqually. Martinisim seems to have 2 components to it: The EGC (Which I am very familiar with) and a Rosicrucian coponent, which I am somewhat aware of. This is something in which I'd like to explore and learn more about Martinisim.
At 5pm The Saskatchewan Rough Riders (Riders) are coming to Commonwealth Stadium. I heard that Coach Jackson plans on starting with QB MBT. Including today, the Elks will have 3 games left in the regular season. Anyway, that's all for now.

The Elks had their hands full with Winnipeg Friday. The got very little momentum. At the end of the first half it was 17-6 Winnipeg. Things got going in the 2nd half. We would take one step forward, they would take two. Winnipeg could finnish first in the West they are that good.
I also got my Youtube video up for Saturday morning. once I get things set up with my green screen and camera, my channel will geratly improve. Anyway, that's all for now.

and I think the main casue is my restless leg syndrome or RLS. I might have 2 days out of 7 where I get 6-8 hours sleep. Some things that help me mitigate that is reading before bed, which I haven't been doing lately. Also having a cup of warm coco I hear might help. Also just deep breathing sometimes helps.
Yesterday I began playing with my Miyoo mini plus. I'm playing one of the early Poke`mon games. Kind of fun to play. There's a whole bunch more in this genre. Actually there are something like 5000 retro games on this system. The Miyoo mini plus main operation system is Onion. The learning curve guide to that is quite indepth. Plus this device can play Game boy, Game boy advance, Sega Genesis, Super SNES games and all kinds of other emulations etc. Pretty good deal for under C $91. Thank God for Amazon returns.

Lately I'm getting a bit of arthritis in right knee, cauaing it to be stiff. I'm not going to stress out over this. My knee is just a bit stiff.

I was hoping for a iMessage password protect for each individual contact conversation. as tomorrow, I'm calling the Northgate Telus store to see if they have the Motorlla moto go phone in stock. It's $150. I just need it as a pay as you go phone and a device to hold my teleprompter script. This way it frees up my iPad so I can mirror it to my monitor.

where I needed tobe the "doors close" at 9am window was fading fast as I waited outside my place for the #104 8:15am bus. There is no earlier bus at bus link 7444 then that. It was 10 minutes late. The way this bus was going by the time it got to 50th & 118th Ave I'd be looking at 8:45-50am. I knew I'd be pushing it. They don't know me at that lodge, so playing it safe, I decided this was a lost cause. I headed for my apartment building 11 feet so away. I'll go next month, in which case I'll take a cab. It will cost me $15-20. Once a month wont kill me. Leaving after this lodge is early afternoon no issue getting home.
Nex tweek Anne and I hope to go to Rickies downtown. Possibly Tuesday. I have a mens workshop I want to attend at FCC Wednesday. I have a few things on my calendar this week. Anyway, that's all for now.
about 8pm these days. Right now we're sitting at +10. Nice weather for taking a little walk. If I could walk that far. I'm lucky I can walk (with a cane) to the rental office. I think I might have to bring my walker to FCC next week while there is still lack of snow on the ground.
My green screen is still in its box from labour day Monday. Why? Mainly because Anne wan'ts to clear room in the closet here to make room for it when not in use. Plus there are 2 pieces of software I want to use with this: Duet Air, and Speakflow. Duet Air helps to make eye contact with the viewer. Speakflow makes my script invisible to the viewer as I read it on screen.
My plan for Saturday is still "Ye old Craft" lodge. I'd like to ask when I'm there if I affiliate, can I join a lodge of perfection as an affiliate member? I think I know what my answer is. The lodge of perfection etc is an expansion of Canadian right craft lodge and these "degrees" are mainly weekend lectures at Freemason Hall. I want to leave my options open in case after Prove up in February I get an AMD invite. Anyway, that's all for now.
as our heat wave is more or less over. I don't do well in We're back in the low 20s and even high teens. Still pretty dry out there.
This Saturday morning I'd like to head out to Highlands Hall. At Highlands there is a Canadian Rite lodge I'd like to visit while the weather is good. This would be my first time at "Ye old Craft" lodge. I'd be up at 7am dress and gather stuff to be outside for the first Saturday bus @ ~ 8:15am. It's one bus ride there and back and they tyle at 9am. Feative board could be brunch. If I knew about this lodge back in 2002, I'd have attended it instead because I could get there and back on my own without asking for a ride home because the bus service stops at 9:30pm.
Today I have my favorite You Tube live stream on at 2:20pm. "Rise of Dark Leela." After that stream, Jade Starr has a good show once in awhile as well to check out. After that, lunch about 5pm. Then in and out of Monday night Raw for the rest of the night. Anyway, that's all for now.
record with 5 straight wins Also last nights game was the first time in 20 years, the Elks have won a labour day classic match on Labour Day Monday and the following weekend. Elks won 35-16. Also, the Elks received 5 interceptions yesterday. What a game.
Thursday night after lodge I began to watch a facinating you tube documentary on Renaissance artist Jan van Eyck and the Renaissance artistic period. Eyck's attention to detain (and his brother) is so enjoyable to watch. Apparently Jan van Eyck was one of the first to popularize and perfect the use oil paints in his work.
Not much going on this weekend. I'm going to write the script for Ridgewalk app and tryo to get the funds ready for Cryptic Rite council ready to hand over to the council's rep at Chapter in 2 weeks. Anyway, that's all for now.

I got my green screen but it was delivered on Monday but it wasn't the 5 foot version I wanted because that wasn't in stock. Amazon gave me the 7 foot version. WTF? This is a lot more expensive then the one I wanted by ~ $100. My green screen is still in the box. There are 2 pieces of software and some lighting I need yet. Anyway, that's all for now.

I ordered my Elgato green screen the other day. While I don't have Elgato key lights I hope the key lights I have here are enough tolight the screen for a good chroma key.
I think when work resumes, I'll do 100 hours between start to year end and work normally for 200 hours in January to help pay off Cryptic and get my bank account up to par. Anyway, that's all for now.

Yesterday's Elks/Montreal Alouettes (Al's) game started out good. We managed 17 points on the board. MBT's completeion rate was excellent. By half time, it was 17-6 Elks. Commentary at half time were confident that the Al's (retro jersy nite for the) would figure out what to do to get back in the game. Once the Al's "hit the field" in the 3rd Q it was all Al's. We missed a crittical field goal atempt earlier. With 1:24 remaining in the game we reached the Montreal 12-yard line but only advanced six yards as the Alouettes defence forced a turnover on downs. Al's D was just to much. Our field goal attempts haven't been very good all season. Al's didn't beat us by much though: 17/21. Our QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson played well. Up next is the Labour Day classic in Calgary. We always lose that one.
I had a good sleep over night with ~ 5 hours of sleep. My step counters were 2,846 and that's a good way to start the week. As for me, not much is going on. Anyway, that's all for now.

Thursday, Friday my days are open. Saturday I'm out for our anual lodge bbq. Location is sw Edmonton in the Uplands. I had chapter bbq a few months ago. Danny puts on a good spread.

Anne had a change of plan yesterday as she suggested we take her iPad out as origionally intended to the repair shop in the Glengarry area. From thee take the #106 tansfer onto the #54 at Northgate to the West end iHop. Great idea. We were home by 6:45pm. It was warm but not unbearable.
Anne decided to order us a Royal (birthday) Pizza and I discovered a Happy 72 b-day bagon on my office chair. Anne was there as I opned it and it contained a much needed pair of fleece, an Amazon and Tim Horton's gift card and some much needed 3 ply shaving razors. Gifts don't always need to pricy or large.
All that and I had a very nice sleep over night and my goa of steps met for the day, and climbing for the evening. Good day today.

I have 2 outings this week. Anne is taking me out Wednesday for my birthday for dinner an ad Saturday I'm getting a ride out to the South West of the City for our Lodge annual Summer BBQ from 1pm-5pm. As if that's not enough it's the CFL EE in Montreal at 5pm. Hopefully, I'll be back before the end of the first Quarter. Lets go Edmonton.
Other then getting my 2,200 steps before bed, I'm not doing much. I'm doing some writing as well, putting together some Flash fiction stories. Anyway, that's all for now.

So the new Edmonton CFL Elks owner Larry Thompson gave a pressor at Commonwealth the other day. He hinted at doing things that will bring in the fans. Maybe like what the Riverhawks did this summer. The main thing fans want to hear is to change the name back to Eskimos. I agree. I don't hate the Elk brand but I'd rather have the Eskimos back.
Next week I'll be 72 years old and Anne wants to take me out to the place where she hd her iPad glass repaird because she had another incident yesterday with her iPad, which I wont get into. After that she want's to take me to the West end iHope for a birthday dinner since we're out that way anyway.

The 43rd annual Fringe festival takes place on Thursday. I remember the first "Fringe" back in 1981. I was 28 years old living off of 80th Ave/107th street. The Fringe takes place just a few blocks away. To this very day, I've never been to the Fringe.
I'm taking a step break for this morning. Anne has part of my parth in the bedroom blcoed off as it is. Anyway, that's all for now.
continues. Note to self, never add anything to my shopping cart until the day I actually buy. Anne bought me (using my Visa) a green screen that was in my Amazon shopping cart. It came with the green screen cloth. I read some reviews and the overall assesment was the product had a cheap feel. The green screen cloth that it came with was machine folded and packaged, meaning rinkles galore. These would need to be ironed out. I told Anne we would need better green screen fabric bought locally where it comes not packaged. No cresing. So I asked her to cancel this green screen frame etc for me because we would need to by fabric locally. She cancelled the item. Pending, my Visa card will be credited, hopefully by the end of this week.
Amazon brought my green screen package in about 6:45pm but I explained why we don't need it so reluctantly the driver returned it. Anne said no more Amazon orders until my return credit comes in. That will be the Elgato green screen. The non Xl one because it's shorter.
Elks finally won one at home agsinst BC Lions 33-16. However it was at a cost. Tre Ford got injured early in the 2nd Q with an apparent rib injury. The 26-year-old Canadian pivot completed all six of his pass attempts and threw for 96 yards as Edmonton led 16-10 at the time of his injury. How long he will be out for, we have no idea. McLoud Bethel-Thompson was brought in as relief and out of 18 completions connected with 14 of them for the win. Elks nxt game will be in Hamilton on Saturday. Looking forward to that one. aniversary of sorts for me. It was on that Day August 9th 1988, while working at Cobogo warehouse I'm coming back from Joe's cafe in the boardwalk basement. Bob Kennedy was listening to the radio by the recieving back door. He set up a little receiving desk for himself. It was a Tuesday afternoon when he told me that Wayne Gretzkyof the Edmonton Oilers was traded to LA. Kings. I was devestated. I recall that it was July 16th he got married to Janet Jones a few weeks before this. I was heartbroken. There goes our lst Stanley cup win. I was 35 years old, living #305 9710 156th street here in Edmonton.
My camera remote came in yesterday about 4:30pm. Because I was able to get the tripod remote bluetooth feature working on the camera paired to the tripod's record function, I didn't need the camera remote. I gave it back to the driver asking him if he coud return it to the Amazon plant in Leduc on his way back to credit my acount. That was all sorted out. I should receive my credit between now and the end of next week. Anyway, that's all for now.
and tripod initially back in October 2021, the Blue Tooth camera recording button on the tripod worked flawlessly. For some reason it wasn't working when I bought my teleprompter. The telepromter has no electrical components or moving parts. I knew there were 3rd party remote bluetooth controllers for Sony cameras. I ordered one for ~ C $70. In between that time, I found a video that showed how to activate the tripod blue tooth. Thaanks to that video, my recording function works on my Sony tripod. Now I'm returning the remote controller, and at the end of the month (or sooner) for the same price, getting 2 soft box kits.

Anne said she will put together a diy green screen for me. Ok. Lets see how that turns out. I can still get 2 can lights for ~ $20, I just ordered some 7x5' material for 20. I have a C stand I bought some years ago from Long & McQuade. After this all I just need is an Elgato stream deck.. Easy peasy. Anyway, that's all for now.

Friday 37 years ago we had the infamouse Black Friday tornado here in Edmonton. I was in my mid 30s living at 9710 156th street working at the Army & Navy warehouse dowtown about 2 blocks.
Incidently, where the Belmont shopping centre currently is, was where the Belmont Drive in was located. It boasted one of the most well built movie screens of its day. The tornado ripped through that like the screen was cardboard. That's a day I'll never forget. Anyway, that's all for now.

Because we have had my PCN thing yesterday, I'm going to suggest Anne rebook for next week that way, I wont mind going with her. And no cab home.

confusion from the other day over the senior housing provider we want to work with. They said they had not received my re assesment, when I know it was sent out last month. An apologetic email from their end was sent yesterday morning to clear things up. All that remains is to set up an interview so we can get things rolling. We're asking for a 2 bedroom apartment. We might have to move into another place until such a unit because availible.
My soon to retired Doctor last week suggested I try Ozempec. For 2 reasons: 1.) To lower my Glucose level, and 2.) Potentually to lose weight. The only thing is, it will cost me C $25/month. A friend of mine said under her husband's plan Ozempic cost her C $160/month.

We're finally getting a bit of a break from the heat. Right now its +18° C out there. Going to be pleasent without the AC on for a change. We have 3 more days of this, then back into the heat wave.
Since I bought my compression stockings last Saturday, they fit well. I like this brand. However my left calf is slowly swelling due to some edema. I'll be seeing my foot nurse in about 2 weeks

Before bed this morning at about 5am, I dl game pass for PC. Initially I thought I'd be able to play a game called Chivilary 2 but for somereason, it failed to initialize. This morning I tried again and figured this was an AV thing. I'm not sure what the issue was, but I was able to dl and install an old friend from the 80s. Bards Tale. The whole trillogy. I remember playing just the first game but life got in the way. I built & equiped a party. I'm not going to add this to my gaming channel. This is for my own indulgence.

I ordered a wired game controller and a Blue Tooth (5.0) adaptor. Not sure why I bought the adaptor, but it will come in handy for ear bud headphones whenever I get some.

This morning I'll be contacting Service Alberta to see what is happening with our Alberta Seniors Bennefit letters of entitlement. Once we get those, we'll be able to get that interview and ask for a 2 bedroom apartment. That's what we want to look at.

Over the past few days I've been anxious about receiving some Provinvial letters of Senior benefit entitlement. For Anne & myself from last year. There was a 30 day due date before our file would be canclled for senior housing. In an email to the lady in charge she replied back saying that everything is ok. We're eligible. "Get them back when they come in." That's a big weight off my shoulders. We need a 2 bedroom and that's what we'd take. Nothing else unless things change here that makes living here unsustainable.
Tomorrow night I'm going to my Royal Arch Chapter BBQ. Capital City #13. I paid via eTransfer. I'll stay for desert and a couple of Gingerale. I need some information along the way. Anyway, time for bed.
Florida Panthers won but it was a clean game. 2-1 Panthers. No controversery. McDavid won the MVP. I'm ok with the loss. I'm proud of the Edmonton Oilers. Maybe next year.
as the Oilers are at Sunrise arena in Florida. I'm pretty sure the Panthers are going to take control of the game and with a bit of luck and our reaction. I see a Panther victory tonight. Canadian teams just can't catch a break in the final. I don't mean to whine but it's been 31 years since a Canadian team won the cup. All I know is the Oilers are going to lose tonight. It's only $9 but I bought off of Amazon a charging adapter for my old Nintendo 3 DS XL. I'm looking for a way to mod it for screen recording but there doesn't seem to be a sollution for this before the New 3DS after my eddition.

Florida Panthers/Edmonton Oilers, for 2 games. if we lose game 3 (historically) its almost impossible to come back from. This has been the first time in 18 years that the Oilers have been to the finale. In the Oilers history (44 years) they have had 26 playoff appearences. Just a little over 50% of their existance. Game #4 is here and if we fail to win tonight, we'll be able to see the Stanley Cup trophy hoisted Friday. Not by the Oilers though.
We're getting all of our documents together for senior housing. It seems the most difficult part of this adventure will be our pet guardian to sign agreeing to be pet guardian. This is the hard part. We have a friend co-worker who agreed to be our pet guardian for our 2 cats. This needs to be done before the end of the month. Not sure what happenes if we dont have a designated pet guardian (in case of an emergency). If our desgnated pet guardian doesn't follow throughand doesn't inform me about that decision before the end of the month, then that person can't be trusted. At least tell me you can't handle being a pet guardian in case of emergency. If not aand she just leaves me hanging, is bad form. That's trust breaks down. She should be adult enough to tell me either way.
This weekend I have my breakfast mens bible gathering. It doesn't mean I'm a Christian or a Bible thumper. We have a small gathering of guys. Anne gets my breakfast from across the street at Tims. It's only for an hour and a half or so. Anyway, that's all for now.
the window installers here from about 1:30-3:30pm. They were from Ukraine as they spoke zero English. There were 3 of them. They worked fast and did a great job.
Today I have a form to fill out a couple of forms for senior housing and get that off to them. We're waiting for these pension letters of entitlement, and our notice of assesment for last year. Our housing of choice is a 2 bedroom apartment with balcony, then 2 bedroom, then a 1 bedroom with balcony and one bedroom, anywhere in the city.
Last nights Oilers/Panthers game wasn't what I quite imagined. I has a strong feeling we'd split at least one of those games at the Sunrise arena. We ran into a hot goaltender and lost 3-0. We had at least 8 odd man rushes but didn't capitalize on any of them. We play next on Monday. Anyway, that's all for now.
lodge Saturda was interesting. It took us an hour there and an hour back. First time at a country lodge. Never again. Nothing againt Wetaskiwn. I neded up getting sick when I got home. The Philipeno degree team was excellent. The food and lack of sleep is what caused me to get dehidrated and ill for 2 days
I had some kind of bug going on over the weekend after my outing. Took me out all Saturday night and Sunday. We're back on the mend now. Anyway, that's all for now.
Good question. I have 2 enemies and they are married to each other. Don & Mary. Mary, because she interfered in my marraige, and Don Mary's renter along with Don's wife, were maligning against me. I've known Mary since the early 90s here in Edmonton. We were neigbors living in the same building. Both single. Mary betrayed me 6 years ago. Also, when Don's wife passed away ~ 3 years ago, his wifes body was barely "dead in the grave," before Mary asked Don to Marry her. Jesus said to forgive your enemies. I can forgive them. I cant trust them any more. Nor do I like them or respect them. I let go a long time ago.
Dallas scored on their first shift, barely 2 minutes into the game. Two goals within Five minutes We scored in the 2nd to tie. We then scored into a Dallas empty net. Game 5 is tomorrow night. Anyway, that's all for now.

Plus hauling groceries in and out off the lrt isn't an option even though there are 3rd party delivery options. We're a long way away from Superstore. Plus this place has scurity cameras in the hallways. We had up until noon today to decline and that counts as a refusal out of 3.

Saturday night beating Vancouver 5-1. Durring this serries it's always been Vancouver wins one, we win one and so one. Nobody has yet won two back to back. Since we won at home Saturday, and it's a game 7, Vancouver should win this one. Where we went wrong was in game 5. Oh well, time to cheer on the Canucks against Dallas.
Also Friday we got an out of the blue call from gef saying they have a suite for us to look at. I think it's a 1 bedroom. If it's a studio, forget it. We're not even sure if we'll take a 1 bedroom, which is about half the size of this at ~ 550 square feet. Cathedral close is a nice location, across the street from Freemason Hall. Yet Anne and I we both need our privacy. We're thinking that as long as there is enough room for our bed in the bedroom, we can each have our own space. Anne can have the kitchen I can have a corner of the space in the living room. I just wont work the same days she is, etc.
Today is a relaxing day. I know what I'm going to do for my next video. The video coming up this Saturday is already scudualed for a 1pm release. Anyway, that's all for now.

Yesterday Anne and I went to resign our rental agreement because after the last inspection they noticed we had 2 cats. So they are charging us an extra $30/month for pet rent. We called Land Lord & Tennant and they said there is no such thing as pet rent here in Alberta. We're paying it anyway as to avoid any unexpected charges or changes. We couldn't resign the new lease because they did not have the new one ready. Next week.
This weekend we're going to have a nice relaxing weekend. I got nowhere to go. Just watching hockey all weekend. Anyway, that's all for now.
I'm working on my memory work for my upcoming Royal Master's degree in September. While I have a lot of it memorized, there are a few things in there that we're not that clear. Namely how much are dues in this section if any. We have 2 more RAM meetings and 1 more craft meeting.
Bit Maestro has been around for awhile now but for some reason this app has slipped under the radar. I noticed Doug Woods from the Sound Test Room doing a demo on it, that inspired me to buy it and try it out. I'm thinking about using it in Garage band.
My lodge brother who gifted us the cell phone said he had purchased the phone from Rogers. Anne said that Rogers had no knowledge of the phone with that id number. I trust Patrick over Rogers becuse they're just trying to get us to buy a new phone/plan. The plot thickens.
We had a full crew at BoB yesterday including Patrick and Don. I even took the cane with me. It really helps for balance and taking the stairs. At lodge for when I'm standing, I can hook the cane onto my apron.
Finally. I have week with no outings, nothing to do except work on my video upload. I spend a good deal of yesterday messing around with "4 pockets" Euclidean app. Its a step sequencer with a lot of capability. More than I've seen from i0s. I'll be playing around with this for most of the day. Anyway, that's all for now.
headed out to londonderry mall for "Opperation, pick up glasses." This was at 12:30pm. It was cold and overcast out there. Lots of steps during this trip. We took the #114 from Clareview to Londonderry mall. So when we got to IRIS optical, and my glasses, I tried them on. Not what I was hoping for. I think I needed progressive glasses. These are just good for long distances. Progressive lenses apparently cost more. I had Anne with me when I went to order the glasses @IRIS 2 weeks ago. I would have ordered the Progressive lens glasses instead if she wasn't with me. Since the Province covered for $250 of the glasses, if my cost would have been $100-$200 more. These are so light I don't think the lenses are even glass but plastic with lense coating. They're ok and I'll wear them when I'm out. These glasses put less strain on my lazy eye so the eye behind the glasses is not noticible. I like the look and quality except they are very light. My legs were getting fatigued from all the walking.
It was during the fall at Highlands Hall in February, one of my Lodge brothers had gifted me an old Samsung phone because we don't have cell phones. Sometime after I recieved the cell phone, I asked my lodge brother what year was the phone and who was the provider. Anne had called Rogers and saying they would need to know the Samsung model number. I had no idea what cable to use. Micro hdmi or mini. So we went to a Rogers kiosk in the mall. They said they couldn't do anything for us until we charge the phone. They directed us to this place called "mobile care" not far away. More walking, more steps. We went there and the guy cleaned out the dirt in the charging port and got the proper cable. The phone was charging. I bought the cable.
After that, we went to the food court. I had some Mexi fries deluxe and an A&W burger and a Dairy Queen strawberry sunday. We worked our way to the back of the mall resting through the mall along the way and through the Simons store, outside towards where the buses are. After a brief wait there in the cold breezy wind. We got (as expected) the after school run on the return to Clareview. A brief wait at Clareview and the bus to outside at Shoppers. Anne went off to feed her birds, I walked home from Shoppers.
Last night I was able to charge the phone up and I found how to unlock the phone. Anne called Telus about a plan. Tomorrow, Anne & I are heading back to Londonderry mall to shope for a minimum plan. Something about Voice 25? That's another trip to the food court. If all goes well, we'll have a cell phone Wednesday night before the Oilers game. Unless I get a ride home offer from lodge Thursday, that wont be nessecary. As long as I can get to Coliseum LRT station I can get to Clareview. At Clareview I can order a cab as there is a Co-op cab station and there is always a cab about. I see them all the time. It's only ~ $5-10 from Clareview to the rental office. Having the cell phone, opens a lot of doors. It's a long post and that's all for today.
