The math on Canada’s plan for 12 new submarines doesn't quite add up. South Korea's Hanwha Ocean is bidding with subs that need 50 crew members each. But Canada reportedly only has 200 submariners total—just enough to staff 4 ships, without even factoring in crew rotations or base staffing. If we assume a deployment of 3 subs each for the Pacific, Atlantic, and Arctic theatres, the logistics look incredibly tight. Plus, each submarine comes with a hefty $2 billion price tag.
This week, I'm preparing the music for our upcoming Master Mason degree. I can't organize that until Friday because I have another degree coming up for Chapter Thursday. I'm going to be busy this upcoming week, with Chapter and Lodge music. Anyway, that's all for now.
