That was a great way to

come off a mediocre week yesterday on the job. One of my better days this week and my name at least has been in the draw for the LED TV the office is giving away.

On my Proline ticket this weekend, I had MTL/HAM, Hamilton W, then I had CLE/BAL, Ravens W, yesterday it was Edmonton/Calgary. I picked T with an Edmonton W but Calgary spoiled my chance to win this week defeating the Esks 15-39. The other 3 games on this weeks ticket are now moot. If I won all 6 games, I would have won $298.60. I should have picked Calgary, all Home teams to win. However, I did manage on a Lotto Max quick pick not to win the $40M but I did win a free Max ticket towards next weeks draw.

About an hour after I woke up this morning I heard Boots crying below, so I went out to get him. He wont go out ground level during daylight. He’s on the chair outside sleeping in the nice weather. Tomorrow our nice weather is about to change.

Not much going on this weekend, I have a Doctor Who episode to watch and a Lodge financial report to write to present that in Lodge. It’s not a big deal. I can sum it up in about the length of the Proline paragraph above. I have a vague idea how much the BBQ made, which was about 10% of the break even cost. It made a bit of money but the idea is that the bbq isn’t supposed to be a money maker. It’s for the members to socialize a bit before Lodge resumes in September. I could have done things a bit differently like print and sell tickets and plan for that.

This morning, I’m heading into Tim’s for breakfast and having it there. Then into the office. Anyway, that’s about all for now.
