nuisance calls, then the Telus installer calls, saying his ETA is ~ 10 miniutes. Then the fire alarm drill goes off for the whole building. This is the annual practice drill the office mentioned when we signed our lease. Perfect timeing as we're expecting Telus. I thought this was going to be like Wyndham alarm goes off on a whim 2.0. I'm following Anne out the side exit to the front and dozens of seniors were. No fire trucks stand by ambulances, nothig. Office staff were taking names against suites. Later Anne said the checking of suites against the list were because for those not participating, they'd get a note under the door.
Telus finally showed up. The gave us a new PVR and Anne was able to keep her recorded shows etc. Also we had the splitter connecter in the wrong outlet. We got that working now.
Also, we had the dual phone splitter in the wrong outlet. Every time when we recieved an incoming call after we pick up my TV show gets dissconnected for about 10 minutes. The work around would be to scroll to find an active channel Get that then go back to my show. Thank God I don't need to do that anymore.
Also, when Telus was here he had to go to the truck to get something. He used the intercom (now working) It says Providers name. Press 6 on the phone, lets them in. Cool. The other place would have charged us a monthly fee. Anyway, that's all for now.
