going on for the weekend.
Thursday was great. I did some banking, got my Warhammer 40K book. At home a bite to eat a hour and a half power nap get ready for Lodge. Part of being a Mason is visiting other Lodges. Especially in Cities it's easier as here in Edmonton we have about 30 Lodges between 3 buildings. A couple of weeks ago I paid another trip to a Saturday Lodge, where I made an announcement we were going to confer a degree. I met some great people at that Lodge and befriended an older Scottish fellow and invited him out to our degree. I learned a few weeks latter ours was cancelled. I screwed up my lines and made an embarasment of myself near the end, which nobody seemed to mind. This is the good part, the fellow I befriended was one of a district brethren and at the festive board he introduced himself and mentioned how I invited him to Lodge (even though we were suposed to confer a degree which didn't happen) so that felt good now that the guys in my Lodge know I'm out visiting. I had a beer some sandwiches. I was home by 10pm.
This weekend I'm going to take it easy. There's an Oiler game on at noon Saturday but I'll be sleeping until about 1pm
Anyway I have a full day today. Lots of stuff going on. I'll elaborate later, anyway that's all for now.

Today was pretty good
to say the least. I was doing great. I did about $750 and a $10 bonus for the afternoon and $975 for another $10 bonus, which is so far $20 for today and $10 added on for the week, wow. I'm going to have a great pay check next Friday.
In Gp6 I sampled the "rock demo" and I'm really impressed with the guitars and drums in Gp6, it's pretty awesome. On Tuesday I'm definitely getting the gift and I'm ordering Gp6 and all the sound banks.
This morning I was so tired getting up, I was ready to call in and climb back into bed. I was that exhausted. Anyway, that's all for now.

I’m so tired I could
pass out right now but I’d be up to early.
I’ve got a full day tomorrow. The good news is I’ll get my vacation pay and I hope I get a full check. One of the guys in the biz room, got about a third less then what he said he was expecting because of a payroll error. I hope that doesn’t happen with me latter today.
Coast tonight Comet Elenin with the manager of NASA's Near-Earth Objects program at JPL, the building blocks of DNA discovered in carbon-rich meteorites, and her interview with Alec Newald from New Zealand about his 10-day missing time episode. Should be a good one. In the first half their going to talk about Roswell and on Monday night the shows topic is on Secret Societies. Cool.
Underway this weekend is the 18th annual Fan Expo in Toronto. This year its Robert Englund and Lance Henricksen. I don’t know who is going to be the keynote speaker this year. Fan Expo is billed Comic con North and last year had 64,000 visitors. Anyway, that’s about all for now.

About 5:45am or so I had trouble sleeping
and after tossing and turning around in bed for half an hour or so I decided half an hour ago to get up fix a coffee and maybe read for a bit. I got Boots here sleeping peacefully and I'm only in for 4 hours today. After 36 hours, I'm played out. I've got a week off and cash to get the Visa card Monday so I can order Music Maker 17 and Rock edition #4 so I can make some rock n' roll music.
Up until when our office moves October 1st, this job used to be fun. It still is (for now) and I'll hang around a bit longer to see if its still fun. When the job stops becoming fun is the day I say "its time for something else. It's time to move on."
There's a lot of speculation going on. I heard the office is going to be one big room with a lunch room, bathrooms and the boss's office. The other rumor I heard is our stations will be shaped in the size of rings within rings with the first inner ring for business and we'll have our own little cubby holes. Basically isolated from everyone. There will be ceiling cameras everywhere to catch people breaking rules, like having cell phones and pens out or food at their stations. Our Supervisor kind of laxes those things now because coming October 1st, we wont have that luxury. I don't know even if we'll be allowed to read at our stations. Why I don't know why the company just doesn't put up a recording. "To speak with a representative press 1."
I don't know if I'll have funds for "Rock edition #4" this week as I want to go see Captain America on cheep Tuesday movie night. Normally I'd be working on a Tuesday night but I can always sub a Monday for a Tuesday.
Anyway, its 4 hours for today, then over to Audrey's and get a couple books and then home. No Tim's breakfast today, Anne's made me a bowl of cereal and I have a couple of sandwiches here and I'll bring my own coffee. Anyway, that's all for now.

What a tiring day it was
Wednesday.
The afternoon clipped by ok and the first half of the evening. By the evening break I was "watching the clock." I felt ok about 8:30pm not drained at all and when 9pm came around I flew out of there with Warren and the rest.
The rest of the evening I was "watching" a bit of the Montreal/Hamilton CFL game 20/57. I like Hamilton's CFL team. I'm glad they won. Then I watched a little bit of the BC/Rider game. I couldn't exactly watch the whole game but in between calls I looked up from my station to catch a glimpse of the plays. Friday its Calgary here against the Esks. Should be a good one.
I finally found where my Rosegarden DAW download was in Ubuntu: Applications. I haven't explored explored the whole DAW yet. I'm trying to get a a program called Jack for Linux. They want me to register and open an account and they'd send me a password but I gave them my Windows gmail and obviously the field wouldn't take the password. I have to set up my linux email. Uggh.
On Coast tonight they are talking about MIB (men in black) and Thursday the topic will be the Mayan calendar. Cool.
I discovered this article on the Coast website about these physicists that conclude space is anything but empty. Its cool stuff. Anyway, that's about all for now .
