Blogging is one of my

favorite things to do at the end of the day. Most likely Blogger will be up and running long after I'm dead and gone. This is my legacy. Its to let the world in the future know I'm here.

This year I didn't get too much into the NFL. I won maybe $40 with Proline and about the same with Fan Duel. I've been following this NFL "deflate gate." Its where the New England Patriot's used deflated footballs during the 1st half of the game to give them a advantage to get a Super bowl appearance. I'm wondering why hadn't the officials on the field notice the difference right away before kick-off? The Grey Cup game is next Sunday. My wife has to work that day. Go Seahawks Go!

Just saw this in Coast Zone that the Frisbee is 58 years old! The Frisbee was older then the Hula-hoop by a year. As far as I know the Frisbee never caught on as much when I first noticed the Hula hoop. It was my first day attending Mountain View in Coquitlam grade 1. I was amazed at all the kids making these strange gyrations with this plastic tube. I believe it was 1958 as I started grade 1 a year late because we were moving house that summer. I started school at 7 years old.

So, I've got 4 days off before I go back to work Wednesday and Thursday. Both those days are only 4 hour shifts. Then I get next Friday off and 6 hours Saturday. During this time I need to get in touch with my school district to see how I can get my grade school transcripts released. The information is on microfiche I believe. I've been trying to get this done for years but life always seemed to get in the way. I think the fee is something like $10. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sleeping in past the usual 8 hours my body needs is something I rarely do unless I have a seeling aid of some kind

so today I slept in past noon.

Last night at our practice, at least we had enough for a quorum. It was an installation practice. Four of my officers, couldn't make it. There was a weather advisory warning saying that if at all possible stay off the roads. We worked with the "tools" we had and still pulled off a good practice. A bunch of us went over to our DDGM elect's place as we had a bit of a "mini festive board" I was home by 9pm and Anne had the Christmas tree up and I just rounded out the rest of the evening.

If I get this other job I'll try it out part time. If it's too stressful then I can always say I gave it a good shot. I still have my current job and I won't give that up. Unless the new job pans out I'm a good fit for them and they 're a good fit for me. It was my wife that told me about the job Friday night. Apparently one of her colleagues mentioned it to her. It pays almost twice as much as what I'm getting now! I think she got the job because she's a visible minority from another country. My wife says her English isn't very good as it is. When I asked about the job, all the girl on the phone just gave me the email address I sent a email with a cover letter and a 1 page resume of my skills, work history and education.

Today I'm leaving out of here at my usual time for my 4 hour shift. I like this 3-pm shift. It gives me the opportunity to catch more Oiler losses on home ice. If I hustle I can get home by 7:45pm to catch whats left of the games. Next Oiler game is on Tuesday. Anyway, that's all for now.

Ever since YouTube went and upgraded

itself to "YouTube One Channel" I've been having trouble uploading my videos from my YouTube channel to Blogger. I'll figure it out over the weekend when I have more time.

Tonight on Coast the topic is on Consciousness & Dimensions. This sounds like a pretty good show.

So the UN wants to lft the arms embargo to the Syrian rebels. This imo is a bad idea because it means more bloodshed in that civil war. Already Russia has sent missiles to Syria capable of striking Israel. These missiles have fallen in the hands of the terrorist organization of Hezbollah. If they are used to attack Israel, Israel will destroy them and then what?

My City of Edmonton, has developed a new type of material that will within ten years make potholes a thing of the past. It's a special kind of asphalt/rock binding agent. COE actually has a lab made for this purpose. It could actually work.

Not much going on for the week. I've got a big meeting Sunday, that I can't get into talking about now but I'm looking forward to it and at the same time, I have a little anxiety is creeping in about it. Anyway, that's about all for now.

Today at the Edmonton Art Gallery

at noon is a press conference regarding Wednesday's city council motion to borrow the funds for the downtown arena district. The Downtown Vibrancy Task Force (DVTF) the coalition is an emerging group of citizens, artists, community, and business leaders, who value downtown as the city's cultural, social and economic hub. It ascribes to the motto: As goes your downtown, so goes your city. The future of this project going forward Wednesday depends on the vote achieving a majority "Yes." At the heart of all of this is a missing $55 million dollars.

Other then the above I'm seriously considering getting the PS Vita wifi as it comes with the game "Assassins Cred."it's a pretty good deal.

My wife went and ordered the new couch from liquidation world and I thought I'd have to haul the old hide a bed out of here but for an extra $50 they'll take the old couch out to the land fill!

The other thing I have on my mind is Lodge and just working out the work week, watching the playoffs and reading my Warhammer 40K book.

I added something new to this Blog: A blog description. I forgot it was even there but at least it looks better. Anyway that's about all for now.

I'm having a nice weekend

other then helping Anne with the new box spring mattress's she got in this afternoon. If she thinks with my back I'm moving that hide-a-bed sofa, to make room for the new sofa, it ain't gonna happen:

Ok this week looks pretty good. I'll know Tuesday if I got a new job, so far the signs are right. How the job offer came about was from a previous colleague that befriended me at the old place in the Baker Centre where we worked. We had maintained a off-and-on-dialogue on Facebook since he left and a couple times a year he'd say hi, that sort of thing. When I mentioned on Facebook from an older post he discovered while playing catch up awhile ago, how I was looking for work after 12 years. That's when he sent me a PM about the job offer. If that doesn't pan out then I'm going to apply for unemployment and take some time off on a medical. I've done it before that way. I've got enough hours on EI where I could take 6 months off and with my CPP (when it comes in) I'll be in good shape. Most likely I'll get the job though.

Tomorrow night is Monday night Raw and the Nashville/Oiler game,I'm going to be playing channel surfing all night.

But since Anne is going to go out for beer and then out to Walmart where she'll be an hour or so doing that, which means I'm going to take the box spring out myself and wait for Henry a friend of mine out here that said he'd take them off my hands for $20 as he's heading out to the landfill himself in the morning. I paid him $30 as I helped him load it in his truck. All before Anne got home. Anyway, that's about all for now.

As you can see I began another

book to read. To be honest, I don't like prologue's or epilogue's. Just give me the story but in the case of a Omnibus, a prologue works. As boring as they are the good stuff is about to begin.

I still need a few tools before I can begin working on my music tracks, which is why I haven't produced anything yet. The main thing holding me back is a faster computer with more then 2 usb slots and a larger hard drive and at least 8-12 Ram. I'm working on a couple of instrumentals and such at the moment. I work mostly in FL Studio and Cubase

I'm in my glory today. I've got Monday night Raw and the Oiler game,so in between wrestling I'll flip to the hockey game. Perfect.

I don't get the Twitter followers like Justin Bieber gets but for a hokey blog about my inane ramblings, I get about 20-30 views/day and I have just over 500 Twitter followers. Almost 8,000 visitors have taken a look at my blog I set up over 2 years ago. I have had other blogs as you can read my daily diatribe's going back to September 2005. The casual observer will also note there is no advertising associated with this blog, for now at least. That doesn't mean that there won't be any advertising if I get the right opportunity. Anyway, that's about all for now.
