I don't mind the Saturday shift s long as I've

had a good sleep, some breakfast and it's only 5 hours. That gives me the whole night all of Sunday and Monday morning/afternoon. Right now we're in full swing of the project. I hope I get some work for the rest of this month, and February off.

James Webb is well on its way to L2 and fully deployed. There are a lot of other things that could go wrong with the tension of the Sun shield. Fingers crossed.

Other than Kontakt, it's hard to believe that I don't have my Native Instruments installed into Fl. Studio. That's what I'll be learning how to do tonight.

Last night I was messing about playing Castlevania with OBS/Nintendo Switch. I think the key to getting everything to work, is the Elgato game capture interface, my Camlink andof course my mirrorless dslr. Anyway that's about all for now.

We managed to fend off the

contractors Friday. Anne doesn't mind if they do this on one of her days off. We realize that it has too be done. We're ok with it but not on the eve of a long weekend.

I never made it down to Commercial lodge yesterday. Anne suggested wait for a Saturday between Band of Brothers. My next Saturday lodge opportunity wont be until Easter Weekend.

This afternoon I'm chillin relaxing here at home. Later this afternoon, we'll be having our brunch and then its WWE's Elimination Chamber PPV. Should be fun. After that its movie date night, on the couch watching The Black panther. Hopefully, I'll get word this week about upcoming work. I can handle a few more days off but not many more. I'm ok with this job but tbh I'm hoping things pick up sooner then later. Anyway, that's all for now.

Taking a break from doing some

memory work for the lodge June 1st. I do a bit each time. Its a small passage of a prayer I'm doing for a special night in lodge.

I got upon the late side of things this afternoon doing some diary writing, email stuff. Jakob Haq of "Haq attack" updated a video he posted the other day as he was a bit out of sync. The video was a 2 hour long walkthrough of a video he did with a app. That was most of my afternoon. Anne made our late brunch and I watched some of the Preds/Ducks game #2 and watched a bit of Hogan's Heroes. Mostly on You Tube all night. I think other then sports and the news, I'd rather just have You Tube. So it was a lazy kind of day today for Mothers day. Anne was out and about doing her stuff. It's been overcast all day, on the cold side of about 8* if that. I went out on the balcony to get a bit of air around dusk.

This is my last week if my Southside job. I'm not sure if there is a extension. We only met our goal last year because there was an extension. We're not even 50% of our goal. Heads could roll between campaigns when we resume again in September. I'm back at the market research job Tuesday, to see where this is headed and what we're doing next, if anything. I'm back, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (last day of my Southside job) One thing is for certain with my market research job: I'm not going to be playing this "call Friday for an update, (nothing over the weekend, call Monday) kind of a thing. As soon as that happens, I'm requesting my roe. I have more then enough hours for ei from what ei has on file from the Southside job and when this is done for a ei claim. It takes 4-6 weeks before I get anything from the claim. I'm kind of hoping things will slow to a halt with my market research job.

We're getting a bit of over night rain. Our local weather has been on the cooler side this month so far. We had a few warm days last week. Anyway, that's all for now.

I was up at about noon

today and I did some diary writing. It helps me frame in my mind what I need to do for whatever task is ahead of me. There wasn't much c2e email to answer. I emailed our lodge master saying I wouldn't be at lodge practice Sunday night its my only day off of a 6 day work week. Its understood, no worries. I also worked on a better intro in Pinnacle Studio for my music channel. I watched a bit of WWE Payback. Anne made us our usual late brunch and began to watch the Anaheim Oilers game.

I knew Anaheim coming in for game #3 wasn't going to play like they have been over the last few games. They scored within the first 2 minutes of the 1st period. I knew this was not our game. Over to Payback. I went back to the game and it was 2-0, then 3-0. Uh-oh. After a bit more on Payback I went back and the 2nd period was underway. Hey we got ourselves a hockey game and the Oilers scored, 3-2 Anaheim. Then McDavid scored to tie the game. The place went nuts. Then Anaheim scored three more times to end the game at 6-3. Next game is Wednesday.

So I had a decent time as Anne was recording Payback. About 11pm she made me a nice backed pasta as I watched the rest of Payback and near the end gave her a nice 40 minute foot rub. I like the pvr as it allows us to breeze past the commercials. We have Monday night Raw set up for recording so its on when I come home while I'm having my dinner. I enjoyed Payback. On a scale from 1-10 I'd rate it a 8. I'm going to try and get down to Canada Place tomorrow to get some last minute details of my gis sorted out and ask some questions about ei. I'm going to try and get out of here at 2pm. Anyway, that's all for now.

I had trouble sleeping about

9am to about 1:30am  but finally got a few hours in after that and I feel ok. Actually I got up just before 1pm, :)

People are still talking about last nights horrible Flames Oiler game at Rexall place on HNIC. Not even McDavid could do anything about the 5-0 loss at the hands of the Calgary Flames. The officiating was atrocious. First clue at the end of a game of an Oiler loss. But there were some real obvious calls against the Oilers that even had Hockey night in Canada colour commentators shaking their heads. Oilers had 1 power play against the 7 straight for Calgary. I'm on the "Connect 2 Edmonton" Edmonton Oilers thread as Envaneo. Here's my response to last nights game, post #2528: "Interesting how Kelly Hrudey last night said something like, "If the Oilers play their last game here with Oiler alumni in town, that will totally destroy the evening." Remember, McLellan said we'd see a "lot of the old Oilers back." Despite what others think Oiler players have pride, they ran into a hot goal tender, lousy officiating and were under a lot of pressure this being their last "Battle of Alberta" on HNIC at Rexall. That in itself was a recipe for disaster. I'm willing to cut the guys some slack. Relax everyone, Wednesdays game with Vancouver will make up for last nights loss." And I still feel that way but at some point during the off season, the Oilers need to figure this thing out. Or Rogers Place arena along with this recession could see a near empty arena within McDavid's Tenure as a Oiler. Granted with McDavid's injury, that in itself took a lot of wind out of the Oiler's mementum. For off season movement everybody Except McDavid is on the table. Will the Oilers make any changes this summer? Maybe a few: Yakapov, RNH maybe. The Oilers need a Carry Price type goaltender and reduce their cap space. If we get the first round lottery, trade him. Anyway, there are just 2 games left in the season, thank God.

Switching gears here, I'm happy with the changes I made in my computer system last night. I went from running at less then 1% free space to 50% free space. I'm not downloading anything on this machine. I'm keeping it until I go on full pension. I might upgrade the hard drive, that sort of thing.

In a couple of hours, I'm settling into watch Wrestlemania 32. Here's my take on the results of the top 3 matches. First of all, Dean Ambrose/Brock Lesnar. Lesnar wins but at great cost. Following on Monday night Raw, he will "announce his retirement," leaving the show (probably out to make a movie. Roman Reigns/Triple H. Reigns will turn heal to beat triple H because Triple H for the championship. Shane O-Mack/Undertaker. Shane is going to get so beaten up that Stephanie (Shane's sister) comes out to through her support behind Shane to stop the match. Its not enough to have Shane gain control until Monday night when out comes Linda McMahon to through her support for Shane gaining complete control. We shall see. Anyway, that's all for now.

Last nights

wrestling pay per view "Royal Rumble" was surprising in many ways. Seeing A.J.Styles debut at the WWE was a shocker. He was mostly with Impact wrestling for years. Anne and I ate our pizza and enjoyed the show but near the end, totally out of left field who comes out? Triple H! What? And for the 14th time, Triple H wins the WWE title. Shocker. Also in keeping with sports, the Oilers Sunday had their annual inter squad skills competition. What made it such a historic event was they used a rainbow colored tape on the blade of their hockey sticks. This gesture is to help observe gay pride and to make the Oilers a more inclusive hockey club. Its a good idea. From Bill Ross's FB page:

I'm going to go get my haircut today and then at Corona station do a follow up call on that job. See if I can get them a real resume and maybe even go their in person. I'd have to use the Nait line to get there. That's if I get the ok to do that. They might even call me tonight while I'm out. Outside of that if that doesn't happen, I'd like to go out to Dairy Queen for an ice cream/Southgate and then home. "We ran out of numbers at 6pm and no shift Tuesday but back Wednesday," type thing. Tuesday I plan on visiting Edmonton #7 as they are conferring the same degree we are in February. It'll give me a chance to see how this is done as spectator and watch my counterpart do his work. I an get a bite to eat there and have a beer as well. Sounds like a good idea. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sunday is the day

I look forward to the most. Normally its the only day I can sleep in not knowing I have to hustle to go to work. Anne fixes us her late Sunday brunch and we can wrap up the rest of the day to relax. If I get to pension every weekend will be a long weekend. No more getting up early on a Saturday morning when its -25.

If I had the money I'd get something like this:

View image on Twitter Yes I know its not music. It isn't about music, its sound design. The rig in this image is modular synthesis in a Eurorack system. I couldn't enjoy those white KRK monitors in this apartment. This system here is about $10K.

So, today its taking it easy, sleep, eat read but at 6pm I'm heading out to the lodge. We've got our Sunday practice before our regular meeting. I'll get home about 9:30pm. Anne's making our brunch a bit latter and I can get ready for Monday. I'm at my second job tomorrow. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sunday, December 13, 2015

I'm usually good for the day if I'm working

on 5-6 hours of sleep. I can get by ok. Saturday morning I was operating on less for a 8 hour day, and still holding out sort of. Today I got maybe 6. I'm good to go.

So what happens when the price of oil bottoms out and crashes completely? What's next? In the case of oil rich Alberta, what's our back up source of energy? Is it solar? Or maybe geothermal? Alberta is sitting on top of a geothermal goldmine. Geothermal energy taps into hot water very deep underground that produces steam, which can power turbines etc. The water gets sent back to its source and the process begins again. At the moment its very expensive to get to the source. We have the infrastructure and the capability, but as long as oil seems to be the status quo, the world will rely on oil. We're a long ways away from using geothermal. With the signing of every nation on planet earth yesterday to come to a agreement on global warming, we could be a step closer to using geothermal energy. It wont happen in my lifetime but the future for geothermal here in Alberta looks promising.

Friday December 18th is the release of the new Star Wars "The Force awakens" movie. I'm not going to go out of my way to see this one. I'm just not feeling it. We'll wait when it comes to video on demand or we'll see it at the dollar theatre in the fall of 2016. I just hope that Disney doesn't dumb this movie down to a young adult type of film like "Hunger games," that sort of thing. That'd be a real turn off for me but from what I'm sensing it seems this new movie was not produced to appeal to 63 year old white guys remember the good old days. The first 2 Star Wars movies in the original series meant something to me but when the 3rd movie came with the "Ewoks" that really soured me on the whole Star Wars movie experience after that. I was in my mid to late 20's back then. After "Empire" I was burnt out from Star Wars. I still went to see the 3 movies after Jedi, and they were enjoyable but still had that young adult after taste. When "The Force Awakens" trailers came out, the plot of this movie became apparent, and overall very similar to the original Star Wars format of Campbell's "Hero's journey." No new story telling ground broken here.

Today, I'm into the office for my shift but we're about to wrap up the project early. I could be in for 3 hours. Hopefully I'll get at least 4. Yesterday when I left out of here at 9am and caught a #5 at Central I was in the office at 9:45am. That's pretty good on a weekend. I got a full 8 hour shift in and I did my banking after that and home shortly after 7pm. The weather was relatively mild overcast and breezy last night on my commute home. It wasn't too cold. Most likely I'll update this blog when I come home and fine tune it a bit more. Anyway, that's all for now.

Not that working on the

weekends is a bad thing. It has its ups and downs. Morning commutes are a challenge because out here in Clareview the bus to the LRT ("Clareview station") runs about every half hour. My shift is at 10am on 124th street/107th ave, and if I leave out of here to catch my bus to Clareview station too early I have about half an hour to waste downtown. If I leave out of here at 9am, I'll be late. If I arrive at work at 10:15 this morning for a 10am start, I'll get written up, but I can always forfeit a 15 minute break to make up the difference. I leave at 8:30 and I'm downtown at around 9am nothing is open. I'm going to dread that for the next several years until pension. The good part about Saturday and Sunday shift is I get a full 7.5 hour shift. That's 15 hours in 2 days. Not the best but in a job where I need the hours, that's 30 hours on a cheque. Most likely I'll leave out of here at 9am. I'll leave a voice mail message before I leave saying I'll be late. Anne gave me a melatonin pill, which helped me get a few hours sleep over night. I'm ready to go and no worse for wear. Once the mornings are done, a weekend shift is just like a afternoon shift. I'll get in at about 7:10am, while Anne has our late brunch (breaky) cooking for me.

Rogers Place arena seems to be on pace to open for the 2016/17 season. There's a link on my sidebar list of links that reads "Downtown arena webcam." They've added a rink view. You can watch workers adding in the support structures for the seats on the South side of the rink area. They haven't got the seat structure for the North side in place yet but I'm sure they'll have everything in place to open for next September. The surrounding buildings in the Ice district are under construction. The hotel infrastructure is well underway and the City of Edmonton and Stantec tower is well under way as well.

The other thing is my first job breaks on the 11th of this month until January. When, I'm not sure. My other job could be breaking for the holidays on the 19th. I'll be able to cover my bills but that's about it. The good news is I'll have about 2 weeks off and I can work on that memory work for the lodge. I'm doing the oral exam for one of our members that took his Master Mason degree. Its public speaking. I've done this before much to our lodge masters confidence in me to do it again. Also, I'll be able to work on that beat, watch some Oiler games and stay up late and sleep in late. Anyway, that's all for now.

Having a nice weekend but the cost of

this weekend is too high a price to pay. I lost about $100 just on Saturday as it is. I'm keeping track of all the places I've been sending resumes too and getting contact names when I can. I'm allowing 3 days to follow up.

Today its Calgary/Edmonton to decide which team is in the CFL West. Esks have had 3 weeks off and I'm afraid that could do them in. I got a feeling Calgary will win this one. Its very windy out there as well this afternoon and that could be a factor. Also, today is WWE's Survivor series. This is going to decide who will be the new WWE Champion. I'll get the results after. I got a feeling its going to be between Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose and Reigns is going to turn heel and join with the "authority." Also, tonight Anne and I are going to order the last Tom Cruise Mission Impossible Rouge Nation. Its only $6 on video on demand. I'm looking forward to this.

Monday night Coast is having their annual JFK night. Hard to believe that the JFK assassination took place 52 years ago. I was 11 years old. The 3rd annual JFK conference is currently underway in Dallas. Even casual observers that know anything about the case have theories. Was it a conspiracy? Was the mob involved? Or did the Warren Commission get it right? I've added a link in the left sidebar to the Dealy plaza webcam. Every year people gather at the location on the grassy knoll in observance to that day. Anyway that's about all for now.

Other then struggling with this cold and

episodes of bringing up phlegm Sunday, I had a decent day. I got out of bed about 12:30pm, fixed a coffee and turned on the computer. Later I went to the dollar store across the street to get some items for my wife. My left leg felt better and I wasn't hobbling about like Saturday.

Our Edmonton Expo with Stan Lee here over the weekend ended on a Sunday where we have a blood moon. Talk about special. There's been only 5 of these kinds of lunar events since 1900. The next one wont happen for another 18 years. What with the Saskatchewan Rough Riders football club and today's lunar event, could that have been the reason why the Riders were able to win only their 2nd game of the season yesterday?

I got to call into the office this morning to find out when my shift starts for today. I've also got to get another fax off to Alberta monitoring. I'm calling another job lead before I leave for work. There's a chance my old school district found my transcripts and I might get something back from them this week in my email. Anyway, that's all for now.

For the most part I accomplished

what I wanted to do Sunday, reading and answering email, YouTube, that kind of thing.

When Anne left to do her shopping I called Dave but the answering machine took over. I left a vm. No sooner had Anne returned the phone rang and it was Dave returning my call. He was happy to hear from me, like wise. Dave mentioned how he was at my fathers wake in 1996 at the Legion and tried looking for me but mom had told him I couldn't make it I filled in the gaps saying that I was on welfare at the time and resources were thin. Dave told me his father past away 2 years before mine. We briefly talked about people we knew some events and about what I'm doing now. About 10 minutes into the conversation, Anne thinking it was the Masons, she was tearing into me about brunch and I can call them back and on and on being terribly rude. I politely told Dave I'd call back Monday. He said he gets off work at 2pm. I had to explain to Anne that Dave was my best friend growing up in the 1960's etc. We lost touch with each other and we hadn't seen each other since 1991. She felt bad about that. He said he's off work at 2pm tomorrow and I'll call him then. I will.

I've got problems with my wifi and my laptop and I think its because the pw was changed. Anyway, that's all for now.

I had a easy relaxing Saturday

and the best part about it was I got up at noon and I spent no money. Any day without spending money is a good day.

Yesterday was the first day of "Slide the City."

The 305-metre course runs down Grierson Hill, just above the river valley. Underneath the slide is a inch-thick piece of foam that cushions the ride.

The 305-metre course runs down Grierson Hill, just above the river valley. Underneath the slide is a inch-thick piece of foam that cushions the ride. More than 7,000 people bought tickets. The tickets ranged from $15-$55 for a day pass. Day two ends today. Not my bag. Photo above from the Edmonton Journal.

About time! Apple is releasing another iPod Touch device. It's supposed to be a lot fast and the camera is better as well. There is also a 128Gb version at $500. I can see getting the new version. I was never that impressed with the 5 megapixle camera of the 5th gen iPod. Now that the 6th Gen will have a 8 megapixle camera the upcoming iPod now makes it on par with the iPhone using the same architecture. I like the different colors as well and its nice to see that Apple is not giving up on the iPod Touch. I like Apple's new music service and at $10/month, it might be worth my while to subscribe to this, but we'll see.

Last night I had a great time watching the Winnipeg/Calgary CFL football game. The Bombers had that game as their last play with half a minute on the clock was a interception! its almost as if their QB had telegraphed the ball right into their hands.

Not much going on today. No meetings to go to, nothing going on other then WWE's "Battleground." Anne was trying to get me interested in attending the "Summer slam" tour here in Edmonton this September but it's not televised and its not the same thing.meanwhile I'm enjoying my time off work but if I don't hear anything by Tuesday I'll be calling the office to see what's going on. Anyway, that's about all for now.

Tuesday, July 14, 2015

Monday morning Anne took our cat Skippy to get fixed up

and to get her needles. So at least that's taken care of. Now we just got to watch her stop licking her sutures in case she gets a infection.

Our lodge planning meeting Sunday went well. I got out of going to Fort Edmonton park next Thursday. Somebody covered for me. Also, I got out of the IPM chair and I took the Junior Steward chair for next year. We hadn't had any stewards in a long time. If we needed any, we'd just delegate them. Also, I got my apron and case back, so that was a very productive way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Work is going fine. We might have the new project sometime next week. I might have a few days off work though until then. I'll need to activate my ei though and I'll be doing that when I get up out of bed in the morning. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sunday, May 24, 2015

There wasn't much chance for me to go to the

library Markerplace yesterday because I got off work at 6pm and that's when they closed. Most likely I'll go after my X-ray next Thursday Morning before work. Just to check it out.

Since I got the note Thursday I've had this sickening feeling in my gut about all this that wont go away. The caretaker wants from me the damage deposit of $915 by June 4th. It's doable but just barely. I have my CPP and my cheque. I'm going to try and make arrangements half on the 29th and the rest on the 12th. We still need to eat and pay our rent. They also want 2 pay stubs and a bank statement showing 2 months. Then they want to do a credit check. All they want is the money because a lot of tfw's had to leave out of the country April 1st so they need to recover some of that lost money somehow.

Its been a heck of a week for me last week and I have my only day off today. I'm going to watch a bit of hockey and  relax today and sleep in. Maybe do some reading. Anyway, that's all for now.

Monday, April 13, 2015

My Sunday consisted of the following

and in no particular order: Reading my Warhammer 40K book, answering email, music production research on YouTube, Connect2Edmonton message board, that sort of thing.

My cold seems to be on the mend. Sunday morning I was having a sinus-phlegm coughing attack. It began to abate after I drank a lot of cold diet cola. My voice is about 70% back to normal. It should be back by Friday at the latest. Now Anne has laryngitis and talks with a whisper.

This weekend has been cold and windy. Hopefully by the weekend we'll get up to some +16's and without that howling wind. It'd be nice to get some sunny skies in there was well.

Sunday the Oiler players were at Rexall cleaning out their lockers before they get on the course, putters in hand. What a disaster of a season. That's a 9 year drought of not making the playoffs. At least we did not finish in last place. The playoffs begin Wednesday Ottawa/Montreal. My prediction for this year: A Canadian team in the East and Saint Louis in the West with Saint Louis to win overall.

I'm in the office from 4-9:30pm all week as we have a new project apparently Monday. which is apparently supposed to keep us going until the end of May. We may also be doing some political stuff as well because the upcoming Provincial election May 5th. So basically it's a 4-9:30pm thing Monday-Friday and Saturday 10-6pm. There's no Doctors appointments, no lodge. Just a straight Monday-Friday work week. Anyway, that's all for now.

Monday, January 26, 2015

Sunday would have been a good day to get out because of the weather

as temperatures climbed up to 9.2 Sunday afternoon. I was surprised to hear Anne say she ordered Royal Rumble for me. Great. I had a bag of chips lots of pop after our breakfast for the show and had a good time.

Next Saturday after work (after checking out times etc) I’m going to go to the new Clareview arena. Hopefully I can get a tour of the facilities and use the pool, hot tub and steam room. Maybe spend an hour or so. I think this would be great for Anne and I after she has her Sunday face time with her sister. I need to see my pharmacist anyway so I can get some more Insulin and maybe arrange for a free rec centre pass. I’d use it every weekend if It was free.

Earlier today I was fooling around with iMovie on my iPod Touch. It's an app that came with my iPod. It's not as good as Windows Movie Maker but for the iPod, it is what it is. I'm trying to find a way to have the iPod mic enabled so I can just have silence and over dub on top of it and add my own music etc. There are other iMovie apps that are similar to iMovie.

Later today Anne and I are heading out of here at 2pm to the Apple store at Southgate. We're having issues with our sound on our iPad and I need to find out why I can't access iTunes from my iPod. They have our Apple ID on file to set up the appointment and my email address in case we have to rebook. After that we're going to Coles Indigo to cash in on my gift card and get a bit to eat and home. Anyway, that's all for now.

Heading into work Sunday

at 11am was nice and relaxing. The weather was very nice and mild holding about 0*. Very nice weather lately.

I got to Subway on the main floor of the building had a coffee and a cookie but after trying to buzz in there was no reply. So I waited for awhile inside Subway and 1 of my co workers arrived. Dave is a tech support young geek and a huge Oiler fan. We befriended each other shortly when he began working with us around September. He does tech support for a major computer company. So he began to show me this service from our mutual isp on "the go." I can have live tv streamed to my iPod touch from any hot spot. Its pretty cool. By this time next year, the city will have wifi in all lrt stations. I'd like to see wifi on all trains. It's a 10 minute commute but it would be handy to listen to Oiler games on my way home.

I thought I was going to get a full 7.5 hours, off at 8pm but I was off at 6pm. That was fine by me. I thought I did ok on the job as well. When I got home Anne had dismantled our Christmas tree and together we tackled the first half of the closet space where I had a bunch of junk stored in boxes dating back from before we got married. We had it all separated from what stays and what goes. Anne had a nice face time chat with her sister, and she had to go to Walmart for a few things and a cart to haul what we purged out to the dumpster for later.

This weekend the city opened up the new Clareview rec centre but there doesn't appear to be a Saturday evening adult swim. That's what we liked about the Eastglen when Anne had her car back in 2003. We didn't go often but it was nice to get out when we did.

When Anne returned she had a Papa John's pizza for us and that for our dinner. I answered some email and c2c (I'm envaneo) messages. We watched the evening news and that's been my Sunday. It was a decent day.

The University of British Columbia (UBC) launched SPIDER. Its a telescope launched by a balloon some 36K for 20 days in Antarctica. SPIDER was the work of 5 different Universities. You can read more of SPIDER here.

I'm in tomorrow from 5-9, same with Tuesday. Wednesday is going to be our worst day because we're up early as pest control is going to do a spot check of our place. Hopefully we can get a bed bug clean bill of health. I've got work Thursday and I'm off Friday and Saturday. That's what it's looking like for the week. Anyway, that's about all for now.

Sunday, January 11, 2015

Our favorite home delivery pizza

is Horseshoe. It's a little place just behind the KFC up here just West of the Manning Shopping Centre on 137th ave. Anne suggested we order instead of her cooking supper. For sit down pizza we like Royal over there on the South Side just near the Keg or Capital Pizza where we were before 2 weeks ago. I've still got half of it left in the fridge for later.

Nothing much going on today. I'm home, reading, some computer stuff that sort of thing. Just before dinner I put up a .38 second song on JimTube. It's an instrumental composed in stand alone Maschine. I'm working on another guitar, bass and drums song before my laptop over heated.

I checked on the free Lotto 6/49 free ticket and nobody won the $20M so it carries over for Wednesday and now it's $25M. I got another free ticket! So that's 2 free tickets from the original ticket. I can't pick my own numbers from a free ticket. It's always a quick pick.

At 5pm there's Florida Panthers/Oiler game at Rexall at 5pm. I'll probably get up around noon, let Anne sleep. She's going to go to the truck and order a few things, start our late brunch. The hockey game will take to about 7:30-8pm. I'm in the office Monday from 4-9pm and same throughout the week except Saturday, I'm scheduling myself in for the full day. Anyway, that's about all for now.

As cold as it was

at 11am yesterday morning heading into work, it wasn't that bad. The ice that was plentiful is more or less gone in most places I need to go. The only real hazard was from Corona to the parking lot adjacent to the Matrix hotel. For the most part I didn't need to wear my cleats.

My work day was steady. I had my first 10 minute break about 1pm and my half about 4:30 and I called Anne for a chat That reduced my shift to 3 hours. My next 10 was about 6:15. After all that and some bathroom breaks I still was able to keep my flow rate steady.

The only regret Sunday was I couldn't make it for out lodge practice. I didn't have anything to do or say anyway. I wasn't really needed. I needed the hours.

When I left I was exhausted and I had a headache. I shot this less then a minute clip from my iPod Touch last night about 8:30pm waiting for a Northgate bus. Anyway, I'm in from 5-9 this afternoon. It's a short and easy shift. Anyway, that's all for now.
