I've been suffering through some

dental pain over the weekend. Its a tooth lower right jaw. The pain got so bad I was using harsh mouthwash, oragel pain killers just waiting for my visit to the dentists. I haven't been to a dentists since the late 1990's. So I got inside for my 5pm appointment Monday, and went through a series of standup x-ray's and oral x-rays. Anyone that knows me personally, knows that my oral hygiene isn't the greatest. So here's what's happening: I've got an appointment on August 12th to have 3 rotted teeth removed. Apparently no root cannel's. There are 5 lower teeth they want to save and another down to the root on the lower left side. I've got 9 teeth down to their roots. Those will come out eventually. I'm going to have dentures hooked to remaining teeth top and bottom. the good news is the Alberta Government will cover for it up to $5k. None of this will come out of pocket. I received a prescription for penicillin, which helped a lot. After my appointment Anne and I went next door to Tim's fora breakfast suasage breakfast thing.

After our dentist excursion I decided to walk home. I walked from Belmont Tim's all the way home. Anne went to Walmart pharmacy for my meds. I took 2 of them and watched what was left of Wrestling. Just after lunch about 1pm I headed out again and clocked a good 2k in. I got to confess things are getting a bit boring around here. I need work. I applied at SFZ but so far nothing. I really don't want to apply for anything until I get my dental work covered. That alone will increase the odds of me getting work. Other then that, not much else is happening. Anyway that's all for now.

It doesn't look like I'm going to

be getting any work from my current place of enplyment until we move out of our current office to head office after the New Year. I should see if I can get any work from my last market research job. All I need is just 2 days a week, whether they got any projects or if I get sent home because of flow rate, I don't care. I just need evening work 2 days/week. Most retail market research work is closed for the summer anyway, but I'm getting board.

So it looks like the city of Calgary could get a new hockey arena after all. They have the funding, its just a matter of if the people of Calgary vote on the arena Monday. I hope the vote passes. I'm not sure what will happen if the vote goes against them. Do the Flames move again?

Speaking of sports I'm about ready to settle in and watch the Toronto Argonaughts/Eskimo's play at Commonwealth. Game gets under way at 8pm. Calgary plays tonight in Ottawa.

On the eve of the weekend I developed some major tooth ache pain. I have a reprieve of it this evening as i've been taking some of my wife's 292's from her last visit to the dentist 2 weeks ago. I have a visit on Monday. First time for me since the late 1990's. Uggh. Anyway, the wife should be calling soon. Her 8pm check in. Anyway, that's all for now.

Its Monday!

Yes sir. We're right in the middle of Klondike days (our exhibition) or "K-days" as we call it runs until the 28th of July. Also, along with this is taste of Edmonton. Speaking of K-days this years even hosted an out door concert for something called "Shark baby dance?" Apparently it could be awarded for a Guinness world record of some kind.

About 6:30pm I went on my 2k walk. It was very warm out there. I did about 1.5K Saturday and on the home stretch from 50th street I pulled a mussel in my left lower leg. Walking back was still and my leg is still stiff even now. Its probably going to be tinder for the next few days

This is surprising news that the last Avengers move Endgame broke a box office record for most sales. I saw $2.7 billion! Wow. And Disney says, that's the last movie of the series? Yeah right. Anyway, that's all for now.

Another beautiful day in the 2nd half of July

mid week.  We're getting a lot of unstable weather, which is unusual for this time of year. Yesterday, we had a huge cloud burst open up. It was another Sun shower type thing. At the moment were sitting at 22 and this looks like what we're going to get that for the rest of the week 😃

Around town, the Valley line LRT is in full construction mode. crews are laying in track bed for the train when it gets ready to come right though the downtown core along 102nd street ending by The Bay. The City of Edmonton, has about 2/3rds founding for the West LRT (extension phase 2.) The LRT Tawatina bridge over the North Saskatchewan is also being built. I'm not sure about the progress of the Gary Wright maintenance facility. Apparently Valley line will be in operation by this time next year.

This weekend marks the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing. I was 17 years old when that happened. So now Nasa has been given a mandate to go back to the moon under the project Gateway concept. I'd rather support that then whacko's joking about flash mobbing Area 51. Anyway that's all for now.

I'm having a great weekend and I hope you are

as well. For a long time, the wife has had Saturdays off from work. Its nice to have 3 days just by myself, to think, ponder and sort things out. Especially on a Sunday morning. I value this time to myself even more. Now I have my Saturday's to myself from about 1:30pm-10:30pm.

I don't know what's wrong with people and social media, I really don't. Including yours truly. For instance I'm aware and get sucked into having personal conversations on Facebook open for anyone to see.

People, we have chat for that, take it there. I'm guilty of that as well so from now on, I'm going to lead by example. "This is  getting personal, can we go to chat?"

Later this afternoon is WWE "Extreme rules," looking forward to it. This week I have "Klondike lodge," at Highlands Hall, Artfx Friday. Band of Brothers Saturday morning and latter that afternoon is Edmonton/Montreal CFL. If all goes well I might have work coming up, or if not that some volunteer stuff. Plus there's my 2k walk every other day. Anyway, that's all for now.

Its been my experience that

anything can happen in life at anytime. I'm blessed with having a good life, even though its been a roller coaster ride of ups and downs. When I get sad or lonely, I think about all that God has given me. I have regrets, yes. I think we all do but in the end at my age I'm in a good place.
I finally have Streamlabs OBS more or less sorted out. How I got this far, I have no idea but at least its working for me. I want to put up a live stream today but at the same time I've got a phone call to make with Alberta seniors. Plus I want to get out there and do my 2k walk. I might have to do the live stream tomorrow. Or do 4k Saturday, idk. We'll see.

Weather wise, we've been getting a nice mix of rain and sun for all of June and the trend continues into July. Most likely thought its going to get warm in August. Just as long as we  fon't get the smoke like we've had last year in August. The smoke got so thick it looked like LA smog in the 1970's.  Anyway, that's all for now.

I appreciate the athleticism of the game

and what basketball players do, but I never was a fan of the sport. However because it means a great deal for our country too win the 2019 NBA championship, and I would be remiss if I didn't mention Kawhi Leonard leaving for LA. Its significance is almost like Wayne Gretzky leaving the Oilers in 1988 over 30 years ago. I feel for Raptor fans losing their star player.

I got my 2k walk in earlier this afternoon about an hour ago. Since I'm not working that's a good time for me to go on my walk.
It only takes an hour and I build up a good sweat. I'm looking forward to getting a club membership. I'm not looking forward to winter. I just This way, I can relax and watch my wrestling show tonight.

So I don't know how many times I uninstalled OBS and reinstalled it again. I must have watched a dozen "how to fix the black screen issue." I have the system requirements to run OBS and I had OBS running with my webcam, and everything was set up running just fine. It was when I went to Streamlabs OBS the trouble began. The trouble with OBS is that it doesn't work right out of the box. I tried Xbox game bar and its pretty buggy. I'll keep trying with OBS. The alternative
if OBS is broken is to get an Elgato game capture card. Anyway, that's all for now.

I didn't like the

Whistling Kettle. I thought the food was bland. The best part about the morning was the fellowship. Our gathering was different then normal. I don't think I'll be going to that place anytime soon.

I've been having nothing but trouble with Streamlabs OBS. Mainly the black screen issue. I tried a lot of work arounds so much so I gave up and I went back to OBS. Even then, I'm having trouble with it the black screen with OBS. I must have downloaded OBS 3-4 times. And the download picks up where I left off even after the uninstall. Even after watching a ton of how to fix this black screen, the issue persists. At least my webcam works on the black screen. The worst of all of this, is that I had obs working just fine last month. So much for my life stream. The black screen still exists in record screen mode.

Its a light rain on a Saturday night. The wife is making left overs from the Chinese around 5pm. Anyway that's all for now.

Its been over a week since I last posted anything

here, which is unusual for me. I've been posting so much on Facebook lately. I'm going to try and balance the two Blogger and Fb from now on. Give both of them equal time.

I still haven't been working. My last day of work was over 8 weeks ago. There hasn't been much of anything this year and I'm getting board going to bed at ~4am up about 10am my usual routine. This is a botched block quote post, sigh:
I just need a 3 day/week telemarketing job for awhile. At the same time, we need to keep our income down because by April I'll have a bit more funds to work with from my gis. That sort of thing. I did a short live stream but I'm having some technical obstacles.

I've been going out 3 nights a week walking just around here. I'm going to do this until the first snow. After that its a annual club membership at the fit 4 life place in Londonderry mall. I want the membership that gets me access to all of their equipment. I'll post again on the weekend. That's all for now.
