Thanks to Winnipeg

Jets losing, clinches the Oilers in the playoffs how far we get is another matter.

According to the True Knowledge computer program, April 11, 1954 was the "most boring day" of the 20th century.

The dubious distinction was derived from feeding 300 million historical facts into the program

Monday night Raw tomorrow/Ave's @ Oilers overlap. I'm taking Anne out on our monthly outing this week (Tuesdqy/Wednesday TBA) Canucks/Oilers Thursday, Friday open Saturday/Sunday wrestlemania, It's going to be a great week ahead. Anyway, that's all for now.

Having a great

other then the lack of sleep I'm getting. Lately I'm going to bed about 5:30am. I get about 3 hours sleep, then back to bed about noon, for about 2 hours.

Tomorrow night (Friday) I'll be at AASR. Al Shamal. I want to see how they open in the Rose Croix. At least I'll get a ride there and back.

Saturday, I have BoB to go to in the morning, and the Oilers are in LA for an afternoon game. Should be a nice weekend. Anyway, that's all for now.

I took some Oragell

the affected tooth and it seems to be a lot better. I can live ith this until it gets to become unbearable.

Hostess Twinkies were created on this date in 1930. Is it true that this classic snack has a shelf life of years or even decades?

According to Snopes.com, the junk food treat only stays fresh for a mere 25 days.

Apparently the VPN was added to my Bitdefender AV subscription. No issues. Anyway, that's all for now.

This is what's happening this

week: Today, finish what I started with our insurance. Ask AASR (edv) Will Lost & found coffee cup, later Monday night Raw, Tuesday, Oilers/Utta game, Wednesday: Niuit. Oilers/Saint Louis. Thursday: Hadit. Friday: Ra Hoor Kuit & Edmonton Valley. Saturday BoB.

Eventually, I might have to have the remaining teeth come out. I'm considering dental implants. In looking at the above, I could get 3 implants for $1800. About $3,600covererd by Alberta seniors. I might need to get some snap on dentures. At least I'll look better and I can eat, but that's at least 2 years awayAnyway, that's about all for now.

Apparently the machinery to have

a Masonic Rosicrucuan body here in Edmonton is in the works. My contact claims that this is not the Christian body. This suites me fine since I'm not a Christian. I'd like to join when it gets here Aparently there was an orginization here in Edmonton. There is a plaque Rossicrucian plaque in Highlands Hall.

I got nothing going on until Saturday at BoB. Just a heads up Don. I'll be there. I love it when I'm in someones head. ANyway, that's all for now.

We're getting our

insurance sorted out because we have this under a 2 bedroom but there are 2 different mailing adresses. Our Insurance provider doesn't get what we mean. We should just give them 1 adress, not two. Anne is confusing the insurance company.

On top of all of this I have a mild toothache from a broken tooth that is letting me know, its causing me some grief. The insurance company needs to know this is one lease, not 2.

The good new is my new compression stocking vendor, is setting up account to order a new pair, I can hopefully get them sometime this month.

So much for my prediction but Artemis 2 was launched at ~ 4:30pm EST. Mission seems to be going smoothy.

Tonight it's part 2 of the Rose Croix for my 17 & 18° degrees. This will be it until October. We're looking good. Anyway, that's all for now.

Wednesday, April 1, 2026

Today is my

Rose Croix day. My ride (Eric) said he would pick me up about 5:45-6pm. It only takes half an hour to drive out to where we need to go. I'll be calling him about 4pm to make sure he's ok to pick me up later this afternoon.

I just hope there is no snags at his end and it's 6:15pm, and no Eric. That's the worse case scenario. "I'll take a ride home, if that's ok." I'm going to set things up with Uber when I get up today. Just in case. Getting to the meetings is no problem because Gordan said he'll drive me. there and back.

Artimis 2 is "set to launch" today, but I firmly believe it won't leave the launchpad. Probably due to weather. Or some other anomaly.

Our Amazon order is suposed to come in today. I hope it's before I head out the door for Eric or Uber. Anyway, that's all for now.

Tuesday, March 31, 2026

Eric was nice enough to drive me back

last month from Lodge of Perfection. I got his number from Cap City list of officers. He said he would be going for both nights and he will pick me up. If he isn't here by 6:30, he forgot. I'll call a cab out there. Its about 14k out. I'm sure he wont forget.

The lead pencil with an attached eraser was patented (1858).
It's said that the average pencil can write a continuous line for 35 miles. In what became known as Seward's Folly

If everything works out ok for Wednesday/Thursday I'll have my 15th, 16th, 17th, & 18th degree. Anyway, that's all for now.

Monday, March 30, 2026

I have 2 events

happening this week, with AASR. It's just 2 nights. I'm looking forward to it. Part 2 of 3 ending in October.

Yesterday was International Piano day. Usually the 88th day of the year, because there are 88 keys on a piano. With one hand I can do a Major C scale, and I know the difference between a Major and a minor key and the knotes on a piano keyboard.

But that's about it. I even have the Arturia 25 key minilab 3 midi keyboard controler but I want to get the new Arturia Key Step 37 mk2 MIDI Controller, eventually. @ cad $249, for what it can do, it's a good deal. I might go pick it up this week at Long & McQuade and bring my minilab 3 as a Trade in.

Anne received her Amazon order yesterday. Mine is expected to come in Wednesday. Anyway, other then the above, not much else is going on this week. I'm feeling prfetty good about my week ahead. Anyway, that's all for now.

Saturday, March 28, 2026

Oilers were playing at Rogers place arena on a rare Saturday afternoon game @ 1pm. I missed the first hlaf of the first period. Oilers won 4-2, scoring in an empty net.

On this date in 1979 at 4:00 AM, the most significant accident in the history of the U.S. nuclear power industry occurred when a pressure valve in the Unit-2 reactor at Three Mile Island failed to close. Cooling water, contaminated with radiation, drained from the open valve into adjoining buildings, and the core began to dangerously overheat.

Wednesday/Thursday, I'll be at the Al Shamal building. It's Rose Croix night. One more section after this in October. Anyway, that's all for now.

I had an easy

day today. This morning I had an Amazon order. Two usb 3 port hubs, 3 usb c/c cables & 2 4 pack usb-3 usb C adapters. Just 3 small items, my $75 order should be arriving this weekend.

The c to c are 6 feet. I wanted 1o foot ones but they were not Apple MFi certified. The USB 3 Hub extender wikk give me more ports on my computer.

Yesterday, I used the Windows game bar screen recorder, (it's free) to record a 20 minute video. Works really good. Anyway, that's all for now.

Thursday, March 26, 2026

We received some snow in the city

yesterday. Not sure how much but the event lasted unto 3pm. There were no horor stories in reguards to the afternoon commute.

On this date in 1655, Dutch astronomer Christiaan Huygens discovere Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. In recent years, the orange moon, which is bigger than the planet Mercury, has been found to have lakes of hydrocarbons. Nasa is still going with the April first Artimis 2 launch. Sounds like an April fools joke to me.

Unless things change, I'm out of here at 5pm for Chapter. Should be a good night. Anne sugested I wear my boots but I don't need my cleats. I'm a little aprehencive, due to Sunday's practice mishap. Anyway, that's all for now.

Wednesday, March 25, 2026

As a back up for tomorrow night

in Chapter, I'm going to have Grand Chapter website where I have Chapter music open, incase something happens.

I know someone that got in the way of an old friendship, years ago. Him and his wife (my friend) were riding his high end disability train. He blocked me on Facebook.

So now Don is on old age pension and they are hurting. The above meme came to mind and if they ever needed my help that didn't have to do with financial reasons I'd help them. Even though they betrayed me and they deserve the meme above. Both of them are scumbags.

I'm relaxing today, with nothing to do. I'm busy tomorrow night, for obvious reasons. Anyway, that's all for now.

Monday, March 23, 2026

That's tax time set up and done

for another year. Our tax person even got our NOA. previously, we'd have to wait for it to come in by mail, which would take until ~ mid April

Other then Chapter Thursday night, not a lot is going on this week.

Next week Al Shamal for 2 nights. AASR on the 10th. No other outings this month other then Thursday. Thank God I'm not working.

Looks like we're in for another snow event this week. I need to make sure my BT speaker is  pwered on as it cut out on me during Sundays practice. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sunday, March 22, 2026

At first I thoughtI' be steering my own

ship to Highlands Hall this morning for our practice, but this morning Perry said he'd pick me up. He got his wires crossed. He's about the same age as me, so it's not unusual that this sort of us can happen. Good thing I keep a calendar 😀I should be done the above by 2:30pm, home by about 3pm-ish.

Yesterday and this morning we signed our T185 forms, our tax fellow hopefully recieved and got everything. And the right forms. If I followed the right instructions. Knowing me, following instruction incidents have been known to go South on me before. This might be the last big return I'll be able to get because of threshold entrance mechanics moving in here.

Since I'm not in a rush this morning, I can slowly pack my iPad etc, and gradually make my way out the door for my noon pick up. Anyway, that's all for today.

That wasn't a cold

we believe it was "food poisoning" from Route 99 Diner. I had stomach cramps, bloatness, uggh. Sufice to say, we won't be going back. It's a greasy spoon to say the least. Fast forward I feel a lot better.

One good thing out of that experience was as Anne wewnt on her way to Stratcona No Frills etc. I went to have a look around at Warp 1 Comics and games. I had a chat with the owner manning the till, talking shop dropping names that sort of thing. I was ovewhelmed by all the stuff they have there.

They had a few gaming tables going. Magic The Gathering and a few guys playing D&D I met a few of the players during a breka in the game. They meet usually every Monday. I could see myself sitting in on a few games. I mentioned "Chivalry & Sourcery" The Game master knew of the game. I might check in when the weather improves.

Scaler 3 is now out for i0s? About time.  I have Scaler 1 but version 3 from PC/Mac adds a lot more capability to software. The Soundtest room has a video on the topic. I'll check that out later today. Anyway, that's all for now.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026

We got our

T4's prepared. I'm just waiting or our tax guy to confirm. It's an unusual process for us. Anne had to go to Staples to have our forms scanned and sent. I'm just waiting conformation he received them to complete the process. The office needs our NOA line 1500 to determin our rent for the year.

Woman Captures World Record by Counting to 1,070,000 Over 70 Days: A determined Nigerian woman captured a Guinness World Record by counting to 1,070,000 over the course of a staggering 70 days. Citing an "internal desire to break limits and achieve something extraordinary," Favour Ogechi Ani reportedly claimed the odd title for "highest number counted out loud" this past autumn. Sticking to a rather rigorous process, the new record holder woke up every morning and, after eating breakfast and praying, counted for seven hours before having lunch and then resuming her pursuit of the record for another seven hours before going to sleep and starting the cycle all over again the following day.

This week I got nothing to do. I bought a few apps that I want to explore first Poly Pipe by 4 Pockets:

Saturday I have a breakfast meeting, Sunday a Royal Arch practice. Anyway, that's all for now.

Tuesday, March 17, 2026

With a name like Shannon

the origination is as synonymous with ireland as you can get. I can track my full name kin to New York in the 1800s. Three generations before me of James Shannon. My name(not me) is about as Irish as it gets. 🤣

Anne & I went out to try Route 99 Diner. Getting there took us 3 buses. We were not impressed. The hash browns tasted like they were 3 days old. The toast wasn't sliced. The eggs were luke warm. The sausages were not good. On a scale from 1/5. I'd give Route 99 Diner a 1. We won't be back.

Anne needed to get to No Frills in old Strathcona and I went to Warp 1 for my first visit. What a store. Has everything a geek could want I saw a D&D game in process. They said they play regular there. I might make Wednesday my game night. Anyway, that's all for now.

Monday, March 16, 2026

Anne & I are going on another outing

today, because it's her birthday today. I'll disclose where we went in tomorrow's blog post.

I bought this USB multi port hub 2 years ago, but haven't found a use to use it until now

I've had the Elgato green screen availible, but I haven't had time to set it up. That's going to be my project this week. What's cool about this hub is it has 5 USB 3 ports. I'm using 1 of them now. My green screen lights (Ulanzi) need to be powered by USB. My Sodtware is OBS. It's a pretty straight forward process. I just need to make sure I have enough power in the lights..

This week it's out with Anne today, and Wrestling, tomorrow night Oilers hockey on TV, Wednesday night open, Thursday Oilers hockey, Friday Smackdown, Saturday after breakfast if all goes well, I'll be seeing a certain blonde, if the cover story holds water. It's been 8 years. Wow. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sunday, March 15, 2026

Yesterday many of my brother went

to attend Route 99 Diner in Mill creek not far away from us. Anne and I are going to go Monday. Also Warp 1 is on our way, as I'd like to pop in and take a look around. I haven;t seen the Fantastic four movie. Warp 1 has a nice collection of T-shirts. Maybe they have one from the movie.

On this date in 1950, (yesterday) the FBI unveiled the first installment of the '10 Most Wanted' list. Aimed at raising awareness of the bureau's most challenging cases, several fugitives have appeared on the list over the last 70+ years. Serial killers Andrew Cunanan and Ted Bundy as well as James Earl Ray, the assassin of Martin Luther King Jr. are some of the more notable names that appeared on the list over the years.

Still nursing my cold. Gone are the waterey eyes, coughing but I still have the congestion. Anyway, that's all for now.

Saturday, March 14, 2026

Sadly I never made

it to Strathcona 77 because of the cold. I hope there was a good contingent of us from #167. I didn't feel comfortable, going due to the cold I have and exposing that to everyone else. I stayed home and watch Smackdown and followed the Oilers/Saint Louis game.

This was on the Coast 2 Coast channel back in 1997, when I first began to listen to Coast to Coast. I rememer the program. It was on the night of March 13, 1997 that the 'Phoenix Lights' were seen in the night skies over Phoenix and beyond. This huge triangular formation of lights was reported by countless witnesses, some who called in to Art Bell that night. Gov. Fife Symington, who initially made fun of the incident, belatedly publicly admitted he, too, saw the lights. Hard ro believe it was almost 30 years ago. I was in my early 40's. wow.

For the first 2 periods there was no scoring. Looked like I wasn't going to miss much. I was enjoying Smackdown so much when I checked again it was 2-0 Oilers. Then tied at 2. In OT Saint Louis won in OT. The ending of Smackdown was jaw dropping. Pretty amazing. Anyway, that's all for now.

Yesterday was our

1st year anniversary living here. Our weather was a lot better but not by much. I wish we had better internet, but otherwize everything else is good

On March 12, 1894, the first bottles of Coca-Cola were sold.

Invented by an Atlanta pharmacist, the originalformula included lime, cinnamon, and coca leaves.

This cold is taking it's tole in me. So far it's bark is worse the it's bite Anyway, that's all for now.

Anne ventured off

to check out cat cafe. I cautioned her about Amway and MLM approaches. They love hanging out in coffee shops in an effort to "Show the plan."

Tonight the boys are in Dallas. This 2 steps forward and 1 step back isn't doing us any favours.

Nothing in my mail box downstairs. We're still expecting Anne's OAS so we can file. I have yet to hear anything from an email I sent our tax guy a few days ago. If he doesn't want to help out there is a workshop that comes here. When, I don't know. It's worth checking out. Anyway that's all for now.

We headed out of here

~ 4:30pm yesterday afternoon. It was a bit on the cool side of ~ +2°C but not bad. We got the bus to Strathern LRT not far away from here and took the valley line to Davis station, the elevator to main. Our #6 was right there. We got to the McDonalds at Calgary Trail ~ 4:30pm. The Sawmill is right across the street to the Superstore. There were some icy spots heading South to The Sawmill. We ordered. Anne ordered the prime rib, I got a burger. Very vibe is similar to Earls.

The fries were julian cut and a glass of pop not in the photo. The burger was ok. We had an idea what the burger ould cost. Sure enough $30 for the above. Ten years ago, I could get a Wendy's "Baconator,+ large fries for $15 including pop. Anne's prime rib was over cooked and she had to have them take it back for another. She paid $50 including the tip. We won't go back.

Anne took the above photo of me. After paying our bill.  I'm 73 years old here. Anne wanted to pop in to Superstore to get us some desert.  I waited at the bus stop in front of the liqor store. I should have thought about buying myself a case of beer to take home. Rats. I had half an hour wait for Anne to go in and grab a case.

While waiting for Anne is when I should have got a case of beer. Opportunity lossed. We ended up at home at 8pm, sharp. Anne said she really likes this Superstore. 2 busses and she's home. It was a good outing. We had a few flare ups but we survived. Anyway, that's all for now.

Tuesday, March 10, 2026

Mom passed away back in

2000 AD just days before Anne and I got married. Today would have been her birthday. Out of all 5 of us kids, I was her oldest. Rick, a few years younger then me, died in about 2005, in South America. Two years a after we got married I joined my lodge.

All of my T4's are in. We're just waiting for one of Anne's. Then we can file. No further info other then that.

Anne was out doing some shopping and tried Lingan. She brought back a take out. Easy to get to right off the LRT behind Rogers place. She wan'ts to go back in April. Reviews for Lingan are mostly good. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sunday, March 8, 2026

We had a bit of a scare

earlier with Anne's job because of the power going off. The incident went and shut her off her job and she couldn't get back in. She did a restart and that got everything up and running.

I even uploaded $650 from my line of credit to get Anne a budget mini computer for ~ $400 from Amazon. I was relieved when she was able to get back into her job. We doged a bullet there that's for sure.

With ~ 19 games remaining if the Oilers dont go on a winning streak, we could be last place in the Western conference for a playoff spot, or and out of the playoffs all together. Anyway, that's all for now.

Saturday, March 7, 2026

I was home by

9:30pm last night. There was no education, and festive obard was free, but I wasn't hungry.

On this day, John Kellogg first served Corn Flakes to his patients at a mental hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan (1897) Holy Snap, crackle, Pop Batman.

Daylight savings time is about 1am tomorrow morning. Sunset is. about 7:30pm. Anyway, that's all for now.

Wednesday, March 4, 2026

One more shift

and the project is done. Not that it was s bad project. I had trouble with the postal codes. I'd do it again but not for awhile. I hope that's the last project until after labour day. It be great to have 6-8 months off.

On March 4, 1918, the flu pandemic (often referred to as the Spanish flu) was first observed at Fort Riley, Kansas, when a soldier fell ill.

The pandemic, which lasted nearly a year, is estimated to have killed somewhere between 30 to 50 million people worldwide.

Tonight, I'm at Lodge, Friday AASR. At least I get a ride back either way, so that's ok. The next thing i got coming up is on the 21st of this month. Anyway, that's all for now.

Tuesday, March 3, 2026

Yesterday on the job

wasn't too bad. We have a beat up source, and wont make our target goal. I hope we're at the end of this project.

I got my monthly laptop maintenance this week. They just need to have me power it on. I don't need to babysit it. I can go back to bed.

BC is going to switch to standard time next week. This means that Alberta will be in between 2 different time zones. Back in 2021 the question was asked should Alberta switch to standard time like Saskatchewan? 52% of Albertan's agreed to remain. Anyway that's all for now.

Monday, March 2, 2026

That was nice of my ride to get me a medium size hot chocolate

on the way to officers practice last night. Most of theo fficers couldn't make it, so we had a gab session. We got a lot accomplished in that session as well. I might go to AASR Friday night anyway. I want to ask my AMD contact if I have to ask for a petition or what? Saturday, morning I want to sleep in.

I was watching a Dice Dweeb video (alter ego to Tech Dweeb) as he was doing another video on Shadowdark. Its a D&D style FRPG without the computer.

Harkens back to the old days when we played Chivalry & Sorcery by Wilf K. Backhaus. Sadly Wilf passed away in 2009. The crew I hung out with, we loved playing this game. Shadowdark is kind of similar to Chivalry & Sorcery. I bought an old GF her copy. She still might even have it. I'll leave a link to the Dice Dweeb video here.

Practice was yesterday, Lodge Thursday, Maybe AASR Edmonton Valley Friday night. I hope. We'll see what happens this afternoon Anway that's all for now.

Saturday, February 28, 2026

My 10-3pm

shift yesterday was productive but to be honest I was struggling during the last hour to stay awake because I had like 2 hours over night. I'll be glad when this project is over. It'll be the last one until after summer.

WWE's "elimination chamber" event was awesome. I liked the CM Punk match with Fin Balor.

Balor lost the match but came up to Punk, extended his hand. Punk took it. The ending of the event was 5/5⭐Great event. I have new respect for Fin Balor.

The Oilers/Sharks game, however was good but the Oilers looked tired. Bouchard (D) has 17 goals? WOW. 3 games in 4 days. Anyway, that's all for now.

The idea was to

get to bed about 3am and then get as much sleep as I canmaybe 4 hours. That failed. RLS wasn't an issue. I think I had too much sleep the day before.

I was troubled by a loss Friday. Our first ever Lodge master, who intiated me into the Masonic fraternity 2002, passed away Friday. Our lodge is a merger of 2 other York Rite lodges.

Dan took a fall down some stairs in his home and that ended him up in the University hospital for a long time. So this troubled my sleep as well as having too much sleep the day before. To add insult to injury I have a 5 hour shift ahead of me today.

All that in mind, and I want to catch the last 2 hours of this afternoon's Oilers game, and WWE elimination chamber is on Netflix at 5pm. Hopefull I can go back to bed about 6am for a few hours. Anyway, that's all for now.

Friday, February 27, 2026

The week just flew

by. It was a good week. No drama.

Next week (Sunday) I'll be going to Lodge practice. I don't know if I'll be able to atend Lodge though because they need me at work. I'm hoping I can go to my first AASR Edmonton Valley Friday. I need to ask my AMD contact (next Friday), what is my next step if I want to get involved in AMD? If Anne passes away, I'll need to do something.

About 2 years ago while we were at Wyndham, (when I had a bit more of a disposable income) I bought a teleprompter for my studio. The device was way to big for my desk, and I gave up on the idea. I found a smaller teleprompter that even has a hot shoe for my Rode microphone and works with my iPhone. Plus this one is like $250 cheaper. The above is under $100.

BabaLon yesterday was making reference to the reserection. I.A.O. In Thelemic terms etc, we all are born we die and are resurected in a spiritual body and the born again (reincarnation) Anyway, that's all for now.

Thursday, February 26, 2026

Yesterday when I was setting

up for my shift moments before Login, Anne says she couldn't find her buspass, so she would need to use mine.

Keep an eye on your feet, for the 'Time of the Old Woman' begins today and runs through March 4th. It's a period marked

in North Africa where weather prone accidents are said to be more likely. The first performing monkey in America debuted in NYC for a whopping one cent admission (1751)

I did a bit better then flow rate and on pace with my Team members. When Anne returned she brought with her my mail. My CPP T4 I just need my OAS T4, and Anne is waiting for her 2. Then we can file. Ann had her bus pass in her purse but she was pressed for time to get the bus. Anyway, that's all for now.

Wednesday, February 25, 2026

Not sure why this is

but I'm getting more views here in Blogger then I am in Facebook. Not sure why that is but ok.

Looks like this could be the last week of the project I'm working on. That's ok as I'm trying to pay off the moving bill from last year. I hope to have that bill paid off by year end or sooner.

I've been getting my steps in early, before bed. I like to have 2/3rds of my 3,100 steps before bed. I'm using this free app called Prompter ++ since my Versa 3 fitbit won't sync because of our crappy internet connection. Anyway, that's all for now.

Tuesday, February 24, 2026

Yesterday I tried

a banana warm milk combo for my rls and I was able to sleep much easier. I'm going to try to get the pill version of magnesium because they last longer. Make sure there is no laxitive built in. I want to sleep not poop all night.

On the job we are into 2nd round calling and most calls were no answer or voice mail. That's market research. I did get some momentum going after break but I never made flow rate. Not many of us did SOme of us feel that Super is going to cut shifts. I'm okay with it either way.

McDavid, and team Canada may not have won a gold medal but he was voted the MVP. He also scored more points then. Anyway, that's all for now.

I said this at Capital Place I was

going to use the walker but then we got evicted. It was hard to use it at Wyndham because of the stairs. We moved in here in March and we were just getting settled in. Once ground conditions clear around here, I think I’m going to walk around the block. It's easier here then at Wyndham because we have an elevator.

Leo @ “Sounds for more” did a quick video on Visual Synthesizer version 2. It’s kind of like Fl. Studio’s Z game editor but for the iPad. I don’t like the price @ C$60. I’m not even sure I’ll ever use it or know what I’m going to use it for. I wonder if Jade, Doug Leela will have shows on the topic. So far only Leo has done a show on this app. Or rather this version.

It could be a full work week. I'm watching for our T4's so we can file them to the office, so we can get our pension and continue to lo=ive here. Anyway, that's all for today.

For once I had enough sleep,

overnite. and a bit of down time before I needed to set up and log on. I got quta and a bit more.

This is the time of Roman Feralia where spirits of the dead are said to hover over their graves. Donald Davis ran one mile backwards in six minutes and 7 seconds (1983) and the man said to be the world's oldest, Shigechiyo Izumi, died at 120 (1986).

Anne returned from her shopping and brought back 02 burgers/fries and desert for later. Anyway, that's all for now.

Restless leg syndrome

(rls) yesterday morning kept me company from when I turned in (5am) until about 6:30am. I managed maybe 4 hours of sleep.

I was in the “Sound Test Room” YouTube channel while Doug was doing a walkthrough/demo of the new Chaos Arp 2. In the chat, I mentioned my RLS problems, and one of the regulars suggested medical magnesium. As Doug’s show continued, I searched Google to see if there was a natural way to get magnesium and found that bananas contain some. Anne was heading to Walmart, so I asked her to pick up a bunch—something she usually does every month or two anyway. I also ended up buying Chaos Arp 2; it looks like a fun app to play with.

I ended up with 6 completes, before break. An even mix of gender. Ten min before end of shift I accidently shut down Voxco. Super brought my shift back to life, which was good. I got my last complete for 7 on the night. Anne returned as my shift ended and she brought back some banana's but they were an unripe green. Anyway, that's all for now.

Last night's return

to work wasn't to bad. I got 5 completes as there were only 3 of us. We got 15 completes as a group. We all did 5 completes each. I'll possibly be going until the end of the month. This will be my last project until October. I need to watch my income. The more money I make, the more my rent goes up for next year.. Strange but its true.

The dwarf planet Pluto was discovered on the same day in 1930 as a cow flew-- in an airplane, that is. The creature known as Elm Farm Ollie was milked in mid-flight, with her milk sealed in paper containers and dropped by parachute over St. Louis.

Out of all the 3 Masonic bodies I belong to, there is still one more that is within my budget. Anne doesn't like me joining all these bodies. The thing is with the last group I joined, the building was bought. I don't know when shovels will be in the ground, but my higher ups are looking for other premisis to merge into. The existing Masonic buildings are too small. If they have to merge with an out of town body, I'm going to be shut out. it will be ok for the guys that drive but I don't. Hopefully we can stay where we are long enough until October.  The other body I'm considering operates out of the same building where I've been in within the last 23 years. That's easy. More on that later. Anyway, that's all for now.

Back to work today

I think this project will be over next weekend. Then that's it until October.

On this day in 600 AD, Pope Gregory decreed that "God Bless You" could be the only response to a sneeze. One of the world's worst traffic jams took place on February 16, 1980 on a stretch of road in France from Lyon to Paris- cars were backed up for 109 miles!
Pamela Colman Smith, the artist who drew the images on the Rider-Waite Tarot card deck, was born on this date in 1878.

Mostly this week is a work week so my posts here might be slim. Anyway, that's all for now.

The weekend was good

until Saturday Sunday. It's all good now. Anne got all of that out of her system. A day off today.

Tuesday I need to call CRA about my T4's and how I can get into my file to get those

T4's. I don't trus them to mail my files. A friend of mine said she recieved her T4 CPP 2 weeks ago.

If I can get 50 hours out of this project, I'll get ~ $1,500 including my tax return. That will take out a big chunk of my loc. Anyway, that's all for now.

That was a

wild 4 days. I'm still processing everything. Doing the same thing in April, and in October. I was in the Al Shamal building for 3 mights & 1 afternoon.

I've got 2 days off and Anne's giving me attitude about the last 4 days.

At least it's Family day tomorrow and I have at least 4 days of work ahead of me, which i appreciate. Anyway, the bear is up. That's all for now.

To get to my

destination this afternoon (Saint Albert Trail & 137th Ave), roughly. I thought I'd need to get a bus a train another train and a bus and a cab. Anne suggested, I take the #501 Davis to Capilano mall, get the #53 to Clareview and Then, the #54. I might be an hour or 2 early.  The fellow I need to see won't be there today so I need to see if there is anyone there all day, so in case I'm early I'll be inside. Not that it's cold out there.

I need to call Will to see if there will be anyone there between 3-6pm in case I'm early. Anyway, that's all for now.

Now

Trump want's to stop the opening of the Gordie Howe bridge linking Windsor to Detroit. Canada paid for the birdge at a price of $6.4B. Half of the materials for the bridge are both American and Canadian sorced.

On this date in 1902, Dr. Eugene-Louis Doyen of Paris surgically separated Radica and Doodica, Siamese twins from the Barnum and Bailey Circus.

The operation was initially considered a success, but both girls died within a year of the procedure. Thomas Scholl of Munich issued the world's fastest yodel—22 tones (15 falsetto) within one second (1992).

Now my sleep patterns are being compromized. I like to be in bed by 4am or 5am to get about 4-6 hours sleep. Yesterday (thanks to Restless Leg Syndrome) I didn't get to sleep until 8:30am. Yeesh. Anyway, that's all for now.

This week, besides the

obvious, I have Monday night RAW to watch this evening, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday the big day.

On the CTV National, we were watching a news news story about how Canadian Doctors are leaving Canada because of being bogged down in paper work. I think that's part of the story. The average Canadian Doctor is being bogged down with unessecary after hour paper work. I read where the average Doctor in Canada, is being bombarded by this red tape paper work. About 90% of Canadian Doctors are stressed out and burned out. If this administrative work was eliminated, it would free up the equivalent of 9,000 full-time physicians. In this country. Its called "Red tape diseas." The other issues is the baby boomer generation. Most of us (me included) are in care centers like this. Plus add immigration to the mix and yikes. Scarry stuff.

I'm hoping for a work schedule for after the family day next weekend. If I can get at least 2 weeks work, I'd be happy with that. Anyway, that's all for now.
