Heading into work was just

in my lined gene jacket and a light sweater and the usual plus my running shoes. It was overcast and there was something brewing, that was evident. My shift went well but when I got out, there was about 2 inches of snow and blowing snow all around me. I kept my balance all the to the apartment. When I got back to my apartment to check on the weather it was only -3/-11 but the wind was blowing like 35 kmh.

My "long weekend" begins now, with a night off. I'm just relaxing today, maybe there's a live stream or something. However I need to get to Audrey's and pick up one of my special order books waiting for me there. Saturday I've got other plans, hopefully shopping for a cell phone. Also there's a critical televised game between the Oilers/Calgary. Sunday its out to a lodge meeting, outside of our regular lodge night, then skimming through the highlights of WWE Survivor series.  Then back to work. Anyway, that's all for now.

After about 35 emails later

Propellorhead tech support walked me through some long frustrating hours to finally get my copy of Reason 10 to work. Now comes the task of paying it down but my first payment wont be until the end of August. Also, I think I have obs figured out. It was missing a compressor. I was messing around with Reason 10 and I like the look and feel of this daw.

What a tragedy in Fredericton yesterday. Two police officers and 2 civilians killed by a local man. Its not clear what the motives were. Its times like these that makes me feel that the death penalty should be activated for killing a Police officer. Anyone committing a murder using a firearm should get the death penalty. This is outrageous.

So far other then the smoke and the heat, I've been having a nice couple of days off. I'm getting things done. Monday, I'm being tested for CVI, which I did last year. Plus I'm going to check work on getting that GIS pension processed and filed. I'm hoping my return to work won't be until late next week. I've almost got enough for a Nintendo Switch, but I want to get Zelda. I don't have to worry about Nintendo de monetizing my site because its not monetized. Anyway, that's all for now.

A night off too myself at last

and one more tomorrow night. lately I've been messing around with Beat Maker 3. I couldn't grasp all of this Song mode pattern mode scene mode stuff, until I watched a video offered by Doug woods. I'm beginning to see the possibilities of this app. So that's my project for the weekend. And I'm undecided if I want to run over to pick up a mic stand with an extendable boom arm and the iKlip grip expand for smartphones tomorrow for overhead shots.   
Our household has been waiting until video on demand came out with the recent Star Wars movie. Now its here and we are resuming "Movie night" for tomorrow night. The cliché's in Star Wars are getting a bit old, so I hope that aspect of the last movie is toned down.

We had snow overnight. Not a lot but at his hour we're sitting at -11/-17< what it feels like. Its overcast. I'm hoping this weekend I can put together a Trap style beat on BM3, watch some Oilers hockey tomorrow. Anyway, that's all for now.
