for my eye appointment. It was smokey out there. I was an hour early but Anne went over to Walmart as I waited to be called. There were 20-30 people waiting. I got called in for drops. Then a bit more wiating. They did an OTC scan of both eyes. Then some photographs. Immediate results. No change in my eyes since birth. No dieabetic damage😀That was my main concern. The Doctors there said they would forward the results to my Ophthalmologist where I got my glasses from last April. Anne met me outside in the mall as she returned with some KFC she was stuffing her face with. She also bought me a Tim's breakfast for later today. My vision was really impaired as I waited for her to finish.
My vision got worse as we got outside as we worked our way out of the busy mall parking lot trying to get to the corner of 159th street & 87th Ave as it was blocked off due to LRT construction. One of the Marigold LRT workers stopped traffic for us so we could cross the street. Very nice of them. Fortunatly, there was a barricade we could sit on waiting for our bus. Across 159th street West of us, an apartment building was being built. I think this was the first apartment being built in the area since the 1970's. I did a Google street view of the property.
The red dot is where we were sitting. The red square area is the new apartment is being built.
Once we caught our #4 bus to Campus station through the University Anne suggested we get some lunch at Rickies, where we were in April and we get the #501. Anne ordered some soup and I a cheese burger. We got home shortly before 3:45pm. There was somebody in the office and I tapped on the glass. I asked if they accept cattered food. Yes they do. Excellent. I sent our JW a text and he asked how much notice do we need? I said Friday. I'll go upstairs before the Oilers game and take some photos and send them off to chat. Anyway, that's all for now.
