My Amazon order

arived at 11:45am yesterday. I love it whrn the Amazon driver is in the building and knocks on the door. Usually I get a phone call, but he said that he couldn't connect for some reason. I have a bit of a job moving cables around under my desk because of this

The Elks had their hands full with Winnipeg Friday. The got very little momentum. At the end of the first half it was 17-6 Winnipeg. Things got going in the 2nd half. We would take one step forward, they would take two. Winnipeg could finnish first in the West they are that good. 

I also got my Youtube video up for Saturday morning. once I get things set up with my green screen and camera, my channel will geratly improve. Anyway, that's all for now. 

I didn't get

out to FCC yesterday. I wanted to see if Don was going to bring Mary. I never asked a Fb friend that goes there if Don was there. I don't want my friend to think I'm just contacting him to get info.

Tonight I'm going to Chapter. Confering another degree. I'll be glad when we're done the degrees for awhile and its just a regular business meeting.

This morning Anne is taking our cat buster out to get some dental work done. She's going to try and get a pill in his mouth. Good luck with that. Anyway, that's all for now.

Sleep has been hard to come by over the last few days this week

and I think the main casue is my restless leg syndrome or RLS. I might have 2 days out of 7 where I get 6-8 hours sleep. Some things that help me mitigate that is reading before bed, which I haven't been doing lately. Also having a cup of warm coco I hear might help. Also just deep breathing sometimes helps. 

Yesterday I began playing with my Miyoo mini plus. I'm playing one of the early Poke`mon games. Kind of fun to play. There's a whole bunch more in this genre. Actually there are something like 5000 retro games on this system. The Miyoo mini plus main operation system is Onion. The learning curve guide to that is quite indepth. Plus this device can play Game boy, Game boy advance, Sega Genesis, Super SNES games and all kinds of other emulations etc. Pretty good deal for under C $91. Thank God for Amazon returns.

Anne and I were supposed to go out today but I haven't been sleeping to well and she has to take our cat in Thursday into the vet down the block for some dental work. I have event to go to at the church tonight, and Lodge tomorrow. Friday I get to relax and watch the Elks@Winnipeg. Sounds like a nice couple of days. Anyway, that's all for now.

My Miyoo mini plus

game console arrrived yesterday. I'll be setting it up over the weekend. I found a you tube video showing the steps to stream the system's games to a monitor. It's a bit complicated but I got this.

Fan expo weekend in Edmonton is underway. I love this time of year.

handheld game console was priced at $91 and comes preloaded with 5,000 games. These are not moern High end games but they are not 8 bit games either. The Miyoo mini plus can output to the tv. Free shipping. Should be here by Friday. Unless they are out of stock. In which case they usually give me something else. 

Lately I'm getting a bit of arthritis in right knee, cauaing it to be stiff. I'm not going to stress out over this. My knee is just a bit stiff. 

I'm hoping Anne and I can go through some of my boxes in the closet, Ihave a lot of books I'm never going to take with me. For some reason I had it in my mind to have a library. Holy not thiking 15 years ahead.

This afternoon, Anne and I are going out to Rickies downtown for a little outing. We usually go once a month regardless. Anyway, that's all for now.

Not only did I get

replacement bank card activated but I also installed iPadOS 18. I'm happy about that. Apparently there are someting like 250 improvements and new stuff as well. I was hoping for a iMessage password protect for each individual contact conversation. I also ordered from Kindle a Charles Stross book #1Laundry Files "The Atrocity Archives" (2004) I'm surprised that it was in Kindle edition. Anyway, that's all for now.

Slight change in plans

as tomorrow, I'm calling the Northgate Telus store to see if they have the Motorlla moto go phone in stock. It's $150. I just need it as a pay as you go phone and a device to hold my teleprompter script. This way it frees up my iPad so I can mirror it to my monitor.

Hard to believe we're in the middle of September The Elks have been on a bye week and they don'tvplay until next Saturday. The Elks are no longer the lowest ranking team in the West 😎I hope to set up my green screen this week and have a video out for the weekend.

This week I hope to be going out to pick up that phone Tuesday; Wednesday, I have my mens support group, Thursday Anne and I are going out for dinner. Monday/Friday are open and Saturday the Elks are hosting Winnipeg. Ahould be a nice couple of days this week. Anyway, that's all for now.
