Oilers were playing at Rogers place arena on a rare Saturday afternoon game @ 1pm. I missed the first hlaf of the first period. Oilers won 4-2, scoring in an empty net.
On this date in 1979 at 4:00 AM, the most significant accident in the history of the U.S. nuclear power industry occurred when a pressure valve in the Unit-2 reactor at Three Mile Island failed to close. Cooling water, contaminated with radiation, drained from the open valve into adjoining buildings, and the core began to dangerously overheat.
Wednesday/Thursday, I'll be at the Al Shamal building. It's Rose Croix night. One more section after this in October. Anyway, that's all for now.
